As a devoted Gold member of Starbucks for well over a decade, my recent experiences have unfortunately fallen short of the high standards I've come to expect from this renowned coffee chain.
Following my earlier email to District Manager Barrios about the freezing temperatures at the 7th St and Thunderbird store, I regret to report that despite my efforts, no corrective actions were taken. The uncomfortable 66-degree Fahrenheit chill persisted, disrupting what was once a comforting atmosphere.
To compound my dismay, today's encounter furthered my disappointment. Ordering a bagel, I found myself recounting the previous refrigeration issue. However, instead of an earnest attempt to rectify matters, I faced indifference and an apparent lack of concern from the staff.
As someone deeply invested in the Starbucks experience and its reputed quality service, these recurring incidents are disheartening. It's distressing to witness the erosion of the welcoming ambiance and the lack of responsiveness to customer concerns.
While my loyalty to Starbucks remains rooted in years of positive experiences, the recent neglect of issues and the disinterested response during my latest visit paint a concerning picture.
I hope for a swift resolution to these issues and a reinstatement of the warmth and dedication to customer satisfaction that I've come to associate...
Read moreI just experienced blatant racial profiling at this Starbucks, and Iâm not okay with it.
I walked into a Starbucks today, stood at the counter for about 20 seconds before being acknowledged. No big deal â I politely said, âExcuse me, Iâd like to place an order.â I ordered a double espresso, gave my name, scanned my app to pay, and then asked for the restroom code.
Before the person helping me could respond, another worker â not even part of my transaction â loudly said, âYou have to buy something to use the restroom.â
I said, âI just did.â She then asked to see my receipt.
Let that sink in: I just paid, and Iâm being treated like I donât belong. Like Iâm lying. Like I need to prove myself.
When I asked if this is standard practice for every customer, she had nothing to say. I turned around and walked out.
This wasnât about a restroom. It was about assumptions. It was about being Black in a space where people still treat you like a suspect even after youâve done everything right.
I love good coffee â but I love my...
Read moreDrove through the Starbucks today, waited 10 minutes for our drive-through order. They had to ask me what the order was when I got to the window because somehow they didnât write it down. then they gave me my order wrong with no cold foam on the Matcha, I politely ask them to add the cold foam, then the lady started to argue with me telling me they donât do cold foam on Matcha. Then she told me oh wait thatâs the banana cream Matcha, I said no, I donât want banana cream. I want the regular magic cold foam that you guys do. Continue to argue with me saying that Iâm wrong, even though Iâve gotten this at multiple different Starbucks locations before. No apology for the delay, no apology for getting the drink wrong, just insisting that she was right. Ultimately, they put the disgusting banana cream, cold foam on my drink, getting it wrong entirely. No...
