Streets of New York — Restaurant in Phoenix

I cannot believe how rude the staff is at the 35th and northern location. We decided to splurge tonight and get what we thought was going to be good pizza. First of all, we waited over an hour and a half for our pizza and street fries to get delivered. When the delivery guy gets to our door I asked him how much he said 23 and some change and I handed him 25$ and proceeds to walk away and not offer change. Already assuming that he would keep the rest. When I bring the food in and open it the fries were soggy and lukewarm like it had been sitting out. The pizza looked the same, it was almost cold and the cheese was coagulated. My boyfriend and I just found it unappetizing and we decide to call back and complain. To which Brandy replies that they were really busy but they were going to make the food over and send it out. We then decide that we don't want the pizza anymore because we waited so long already for them to have delivered us old food. So I call back and advise brandy that we changed our minds and we would come into the store and return the food and that we were going to get something else for dinner. Basically just to show them why we were so unhappy and also get a refund. I walk into the store and woman is on the phone and doesn't acknowledge me. When she hangs up the phone I smile and greet here. She still doesn't acknowledge me and just shuffles papers and stapler around and then finally says Oh you are Ria? I said yes I bought the food here just want to show you the food and also get my refund. She says I have to ask Scott to approve the refund and heads to the back and I can see her talking to the older man in the back and he is obviously complaining anf talking to her about the whole situation right in front of me. After I wait there for about what feels like 10 min he finally comes to the front saying "you shouldn't have come we already had the food done and we were going to bring it out." "Next time don't come here." "Also we don't do cash refunds, but tonight I will make an exception." To which I reply to this "well there wont be a next time." And he says "See what happens when you try to do someone a favor." He hands me my money and says under his breath "Enjoy your burgers." I proceed to ask him "what is your problem, you think that you can just say whatever you want to your customers?" He says "Aren't you getting burgers?" Acting completely ignorant and Brandy chimes in "Well aren't you getting burgers you said you were getting burgers on the phone." I said no I did not I said we are going to get something else. Scott says "Well I'm not gonna stand here and argue with you." Mumbles things under his breath as im walking out. I tell my boyfriend what happened and goes into the store. Scott tells him that I am no longer allowed in the store because I was droping f bombs. My bf just shook his head and walked out. I call another location to get information about how to take this to upper management only to find that Scott is the general manager of the store. This man and even his staff specifically Brandy are absolutely horrid. He even admitted to messing up the first time on the food. THey knew the food was old and still sent it out to us and acted as if he was doing me a favor by returning my money, which by the way did not include the tip. I would never recommend anyone to go to Streets. He sets a bad image for the whole company. If you care about your customers I would recommend you find a new manager who cares about...

Do not waste your time! Seriously... don't do it. We live down the street, and have ordered from this location many times. They have been consistently inconsistent, and we put up with that. It was close to home, and worked for us (generally speaking). We have had some abnormally bad experiences recently, and they could care less. We ordered a salad from them, and the lettuce came very wilted, they forgot our dressing, and it was warm from being kept in the same back as the pizza. My girlfriend called to complain, and they said our next salad would be free, which was fine. I ordered wings the following day, and a salad for my girlfriend to take to work as well. When she opened her salad (which had not been opened until that moment), she found a fly resting on the top of the salad. This is following many other situations that included cold pizza being delivered, food being forgotten, delivery taking in excess of two hours, and wings showing up completely under cooked. Again, we have been a customer for a long time, and had put up with a lot. Not sure why at this point. I called following the fly incident, stated that I felt as if this was some type of retaliation, and she promised that the owner would call me back the next day. I never received that call. Like a fool, a few months later, I ordered from their location, again. The wings showed up ridiculously over cooked, I had ordered "only flappers" (only legs showed up), the bread we ordered was completely stale, and the salad my girlfriend ordered was pitiful. She called in to complain, yet again, and they stated that our wings would be free next time. You'd think I would have stopped there. Clearly this location has no respect for the customers money or time. But I called them again, this evening! It has been well over a month, and they told me that the credit was only good for 30 days, so there was nothing they could do. The woman on the phone even acknowledged that she was the one to enter that credit. Don't be the sucker I was, and don't spend...

This was such a great place until my last experience! So, the manager (as she says she is) racist manager, sees a family of four show up and sit outside the patio area! We wait 10 min or so, she saw us thru window sit outside, but of course didn't bother to come out and say "I'm sorry. I can't assist u outside due to weather issues"! So I walked inside upset and said do u not see us outside, are u not working she says yes I'm working, but not outside due to weather! Weather was fine, not raining or windy! We have ate out in patio area before when it's raining and staff have always been awsome! So my family walks inside and she says u can't bring outside drinks! I'm even more upset so I grab the drinks and upsetly move them aside and said look just take the order! So she says u know I don't need that attitude and u can leave now! Damn, my blood boiling! Seriously, this lady is just the problem! She needs to get fired! She needs to go! This place will go down because of her! But obviously the owner is blind! No wonder this place is lonely! My husand and I own a restaurant and we know what treating a customer like is! First of all you could have put a sign up on the door that says "due to weather" I'm not taking orders outside! 2nd of all put a sign that says no outside drinks and 3rd of all it is obvious u cant have a better job than this and so u call ur self a manager to make ur self feel proud! So sad! Ugly people like u deserve to be striked by lightning!! Too bad I have to rate 1 star, but I rate this place no star at all! Middle finger to this ugly mofo!
