Subway — Restaurant in Phoenix

Stopped by this location on a whim as I was in the area for work and just happened to see it out of the corner of my eye. I typically get the same thing every time, I know.. I know.. where is the fun in that. Roast beef it was, usual fixings, lettuce, spinach, olives, onion, extra pickles, seasonings with a splash of oil and vinegar. It was right on par with how it usually tastes so no complaints there, the place was pretty clean, mind you there was some bits of food here and there but what can you do. It was nice to see a patio as accomadating as it was, albeit the season does not call for a lengthy visit to the outdoors.

My only knock on this location is the fact that not one time, regardless of what kind of order it was.. pickup, dine in, delivery.. not one sandwich had tape or a seal on it. I know it's a little picky but I just didn't appreciate how much of the sandwich fell apart simply driving back to work. The loose paper idea is not ideal, I mean.. even if they were stickers from the dollar store like unicorns or...

Just had the worst Subway sandwich of my life. How can you sell someone a sandwich on a roll that crumbles in your hands it’s so hard? I only wish I noticed this before I got home. Seriously, this bread was either toasted and someone changed their mind or it was a couple days old. I have never had such poor quality food at a Subway. I won’t even start on the lack of customer service skills of the young man who waited on me. I would be embarrassed if I was the owner...

Geesh, a little pricey at this subway…they don’t participate in the promotions, no $2.00 off, no BOGO50 and they charge $4.00 for a personal bottle of sprite not to mention you place the order yourself on the ap and this is carry out.
