I know that the manager is already ready for this post. If I actually had a more sincere apology from management and/or the employee then this wouldnât be being posted. I was waiting outside with my babies bc my double stroller wouldnât fit and I didnât want to disturb anyone eating or taking up room while my husband was inside picking up our order. So what happened was; as I was waiting between the parked cars and the window, this guy (employee) comes out with boxes in his arms stacked tall enough where they are over his head and he couldnât see over them. I see him coming and Iâm telling him that my babies and I are in front of him. I even made eye contact with him in the reflection in the window. For all of you asking âDid you say it load enough?â Yes, I did and I kept repeating it. He runs into my babyâs stroller and boxes fell on my babies. His reaction was to laugh and tell me to calm down when I reacted to the situation and told him to watch where he was going. Anyone who has ever handled boxes while working in ANY environment knows not to take so many that you canât see front of you. ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE WORKING WITH PEOPLE AROUND, INCLUDING FREAKING CHILDREN!!!!!!!!!!!!! Obviously safety isnât important to them as the guy laughed, and when I talked to the manager he just told him, âjust be careful and donât do that again.â No apology even offered to me from the employee when I talked to him. The guy then went to a co-worker and just thought it was funny, again laughing at the situation and me being upset. So I ask you other parents out there, if this wouldâve happened to you, do you think itâs funny to have boxes falling on your babies and a guy is just telling you to come down? then the guy not even offering an apology? EVEN when you told him to be careful and that you and your babies are right in front of him when you seen him coming? Then when you tell the manager they are completely unhelpful and didnât even make sure me or my babies were okay?!
Obviously there is no safety being pushed, no remorse or care for the customer.
Oh, and their horchata is garbage, the thing was...
Read moreI gave this location two chances, two Tuesdays in a row.
I was there around 7:00 PM, and on my last visit.
I pointed out that their sign wasn't lit. As a newly opened restaurant the signage I believe is critical.
The two guys at the counter shrugged their shoulders and went on with what they were doing.
Then the cashier couldn't speak English to the level that I had to point & use my fingers to signal my order. (Still he got it wrong.)
This was the second time I got dine in but ordered togo.
I paid around $15 and got 3 carne asada (beef) tacos ordered pollo (chicken).
Single shell, 2-3 oz. of meat and nothing else.
They have a salsa bar but as I approached a person from the kitchen packed up 7 of like 10 containers and took them in back to refill them.
It took him more than 10 minutes before he returned.
I had eaten the tacos plain by then.
In addition, it appeared that the newly stocked salsa bar was just new items piled up top of the original items.
No rotation and no older first, that doesn't just lead to waste it can ne dangerous.
The interior isn't anything special or very inviting but that isn't a big deal.
They have a TV on but you can't here it over the excessive loud music and it didn't have captions on, so its a waste of money / effort to have a TV.
From order, to food was fairly quick but the meals were nothing special and with the cost, poor service, salsa bar issues, lack of care about the operation (sign) and it being (loud) nothing special inside, I rate it a dud.
Filibertos is my call next Tuesday.
At least I get enough food for $15 to keep me full for more...
Read moreWent here for last time yesterday. I finally had enough. You have to check your food every time or there will be no sour cream or cheese on the steak fries. On Tuesday a few weeks ago, one of the little boys behind the counter told me this is "our off day for dairy" so do you still want them? No discount, just take it or leave it. If you try to buy a beer while you wait for takeout, good luck. I sat at the "bar" for 15 mins while the little boys behind the counter laughed and giggled like children until my food was ready. No beer for me! Is there a reason only immature children are hired here? 1 out of 4 days the cucumbers are slightly brown and a little slimey, which is really annoying because its one of the better reasons to come here. Their salad bar used to be great. Gone downhill since they opened. Everyone that works there needs training, and where is the boss? Why aren't you managing the man children that you hired? Avoid this location at all costs. I've been here at least 50 times at an average bill of $30. That's $1,500! The biggest problem is when you get to the counter, the man boys treat you like they're doing you a favor and you should be happy you can even eat here. And, stop asking for tips on the check! I walk to counter, order, get my own drink, go to salad bar and do that, and then have to pick up my own food from counter. How arrogant to basically ask for a little more money on the check for nothing. Never again. Plus, there are so many better restaurants nearby that will treat you with dignity and not employ...
