Hideaway Lounge — Restaurant in Phoenix

I first went about three weeks ago and again about a week ago for my birthday. It is a great place for karoake. Even though I butchered my last two songs on my last visit. I was given two complimentary Sprites due to it being my birthday.

The first and last visit were completely different. The first one was great and everyone was having fun. People were singing along; offering to do background vocals; and offering to serve as dancers during karoake performances. They had me weak with laughter. The crowd that night was very lit. During the second visit, I felt uneasy the later I stayed (stayed until closing) due to some rough housing going on. I do not like chaos and that is why I am not very social to begin with. Nothing got too out-of-hand. I may just need to leave by a certain time.

The bartender Zachary was nice. He also has a great voice! Tim the Disc Jockey is great as well! He had everyone sing happy birthday to me per my friend's request. A patron collected our glasses and placed them together, while a young lady who works at the lounge cleared our table. Thank you to both! I have yet to try the food so I cannot comment on it. Food: I've tried the Nachos with meat, and the mozzarella sticks, they are good, no complains They have very reasonable prices, there is two specific bartenders who I can say they are awesome 👌, Not sure about the other ones, this is the 5th time I've visited this place and I like it. It's a good place to go straight after work, nothing fancy, just regular and simple people trying to have a good time, I read a comment saying they sell coke at the restrooms and I couldn't fine anybody to confirm it lol 🤣 so I read about all the bad comments before going 🤭 and I found one about the Karaoke guy Tim, and he seems to be very nice and friendly to me, they learn your names fast, so as soon as I walk in, they serves you what you usually drink and play the songs you sing the most, so very happy with that, I know some people think it is a dirty place but I think the colors of the walls are the once that don't help. Girls restroom was very clean yesterday so not sure what happened with the bad comments. Tim, Jackie and Zack my 5 stars every time we go there. Wonderful evening, did not expect much from this bar, but was pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere, staff and over energy of the space. Ended up staying longer than a single drink. Thank you Cami and Berto you both deserve a raise x2 . I had moz sticks and the sweet chili wings which were the best I’ve had in the longest time!
