I love Tacos Rodríguez with all mi corazón !

I grew up in PHX classic gringo style who had no idea how many amazing authentic taco shops there were if I decided to explore a bit and then I found this gem. What can I say other than it’s the best tacos / burritos / quesadillas / pastor / asada / birria in all of PHX !!

The owners have become my friends, and I thoroughly enjoy being there with them as they serve me their delicioso comida !!

They are kind people and make killer food, look it has 4.9 rating with 185 reviews that tells you everything.

I drive 35 minutes to eat here and do so multiple times a week without a second thought or hesitation. My current favorite is asada quesadilla (extra crispy…doradito) with fresh guacamole and pico de gallon on the side. With that said I have tried their pollo, pastor, and asada tacos on flour tortilla and have loved each time.

Pro tip: ask for queso fundido (melted cheese) on your flour tortilla carne asada tacos and also some fresh cut pineapple on the meat. Mmmmmmm I want it right now and I was just there yesterday LOL

Now that’s how you do birria! Ridiculously rico consomé. Juicy, delicious meats with a simple accompaniment of onion and cilantro, lime and salsas, with radishes and cucumber chasers. Also had the carne asada, cabeza, and pastor tacos, and they were all excellent. Full of flavor and juice and complexity.

The family that runs the place is super sweet, attentive, and kind. You can tell they’re experiencing growing pains as their popularity grows, but they handle it with grace and compassion. My companion asked if they had chips and salsa, and her response was “No, we don’t. But we can make some for you if you want!” We we’re both floored. You don’t get that sort of experience anywhere, ever. But Tacos Rodriguez went above and beyond to ensure we were enjoying our meal

This might be my favorite spot for tacos after tonight. The quezabirria tacos were to die for. And now they’ve got birria ramen on the menu! Will absolutely be back.

But now, a word for first timers: don’t park in the “parking lot.” Park somewhere on the street just East of the taco truck. Additionally, if there’s an open table, just walk up and take a seat, and the family will serve you there. They keep a tab for you and close you...

Was in the area looking for a tire and saw this spot tucked away. I've been on a food truck kick lately and it's best to go in without knowing sometimes.

I live 5 minutes down the road and since Madrigals caught fire I haven't found my Taco replacement but holy cow!! The birria tacos were the best I've had. I went back probably 5 hours later with my roommates to make them try this spot. They got a torta and other tacos and everything was just too good.

I had also decided to do some carne asada fries the first time I went. I feel like it's easy to make carne asada fries taste not very good but surprise! (Not) They absolutely nailed them here

5/5 you guys are straight hustling and make living in south Phoenix the best. Little places like this slanging food other cities wish they had.
