I got a menu in the mail and thought I give this place a chance. Ordering online through their site was easy and picking up from their store was a breeze. I also couldn't help but notice that it looks like the building, parking lot and sign outside got some nice renovations compared to the pictures that Google has on their street view at the time of writing. The price was reasonable for the amount of food we received.
Unfortunately, that is all the praise I can give this place. The food for my entire order was very disappointing. The crab puffs did not taste like they didn't have any crab in them at all and the sweet and sour sauce was weak and tasted like it came out of a can. That pretty much sums up the rest of the food, it tasted processed and came out of a frozen bag. The egg roll and beef with broccoli tasted like it was previously frozen and reheated. The beef and broccoli was bland and flavorless with all the flavor coming from the gravy which did not taste pleasant as it tasted like it was made with too much corn starch. The house chicken shared this as well and some of the bits were just dough fried with no chicken in it. It also gave my husband and I an upset stomach, which isn't something I get easily. The rice, which one would expect to be decent from a Chinese food restaurant did not even meet that low bar. The fried rice was disappointing and to our shock, the white rice was even worse as it tasted off and was dry.
The fact that the menu that was mailed out stats new menu-new prices makes me wonder if what changed is their food supplier and the stuff in the menu is all frozen open the bag and heat meals. Though this is my first time here and do not have any experience with the prior menu. I cannot really recommend this place to anyone unless you're looking to get a lot of food for your dollar and you'll tolerate really mediocre...

Rating: ★★☆☆☆
I recently had the opportunity to try King Wong Chinese Food, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. From the poor service to the average taste of the food and the frequent errors with my orders, there were several aspects that fell short of my expectations.
Let's start with the service. Upon entering the restaurant, I was met with a lackluster welcome and an overall disinterested attitude from the staff. The waiters seemed more preoccupied with their own conversations and phones rather than attending to the customers.
Moving on to the food itself, I found it to be rather disappointing. While it wasn't outright terrible, it certainly didn't leave a lasting impression. The flavors lacked the authentic richness and depth I would expect from a Chinese restaurant. The dishes were adequate at best, lacking that special touch that elevates a meal from ordinary to memorable. The ingredients used seemed mediocre, and there was a distinct lack of freshness in some of the dishes.
One of the most frustrating aspects of my experience was the consistent mishandling of my orders. It was evident that attention to detail was lacking in their kitchen, and I found this level of carelessness quite frustrating.
In conclusion, my visit to King Wong Chinese Food was underwhelming. The poor service, average taste of the food, and the consistent errors with my orders left me feeling disappointed. With so many other Chinese restaurants in the area that offer better experiences, I find it difficult to recommend King Wong. If you're looking for a truly satisfying dining experience, I suggest exploring...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I decided to check this place out for some Chinese food and overall it was ok.
The lady who took our order over the phone was very helpful and polite, she demonstrated patience as we took a little time to decide what we wanted. She also allowed for us to make substitutions for our combos, and I thought that was good.
Now… the food. We had crab puffs and egg rolls for appetizers and they were tasty, hot and fresh.
We ordered bbq pork slices and it was a bit disappointing because we were told how good they were, but to be honest the meat was overcooked, too dry and lacked flavor.
I had the beef broccoli combo with bbq chicken and house fried rice. The chicken was pretty good, tender and had flavor. I didn’t care too much for my beef broccoli, the sauce was thick and too much like jelly which was off putting. My rice was too greasy and the pork and chicken were tasteless, only had two shrimp in it.
My boyfriend wasn’t impressed with his food, (he had the sweet and sour chicken combo.) He did not like the taste or quality of it.
Kind of a waste of spending $40
I don’t believe we will be ordering from them again...
