The ethics of this place do not exist. It’s dirty and from someone who 👀 slot of behind the scenes I suggest NOT EATING here.
Here’s why. I had a pretty large order to pick up Yesterday and when I arrived, they made me wait. I waited very patiently.
Given the order was so large I requested a cup for a drink because I was scorched because it was a round 105° out
The order was so large I asked for a box so I could carry the food and the 7 extra large Horchatas 🥤outside So I don’t Drop or spell anything on the way because the order was again so large.
Proceeds to RUDLEY That is unprofessional and unpresentable I responded very respectfully saying yeah, but I will not give it to them in the box. I just needed to carry. She then rudely hand me a cup of water even though
I just asked for a cup.. not that I am entitled to any drinks, but usually 10 times out of 10 I’ve never never been really denied one. Except for here. And I would’ve been fine with it, but she just wanted to show she was in control.
I couldn’t put my finger on it until now. Why was she so upset? It’s because she made such a large order and she wasn’t getting any of the tip. It makes sense now greed and envy, and jealousy will only...
Read moreWith taco shops on almost every corner in this neighborhood, I never know which one to try. But I went to the drive-through for the first time after seeing cars in line all the time making me think it must be OK. Menu is standard but prices are a little high I think. $4.99 for a bean and cheese burrito?! (And I've heard the beans are too salty!) But then I saw two enchiladas-- beef, chicken or cheese, for $3.99 and since I'm cheap and poor, I went for that. I'm glad I did. It's two large enchiladas with lots of tasty sauce in a long bowl with cheese on top. Really great value. I have two complaints about Mr. Cowboy's. First, I must have waited 15-20 minutes at that drive through window waiting for those enchiladas! I almost gave up and left. Second, I thought they were 24 hours as I see cars at the drive-through late, late at night but when I stopped by for the second time around midnight, they were closed. It was Memorial Day so I'll assume that was why and not figure they close whenever they feel like it. To summarize, standard taco shop menu, including menudo on the weekend, good enchiladas but prices too high overall. ...
Read moreThe food quality has gone down I used to come here all the time when they were open 24 hours a day but since the change, the food has been poor quality. I was served very hard masa tamales with black chicken a couple of days ago. They claim they are made fresh daily but these were awful. When they were returned the person I sent to return the food to the store was mistaken for someone else who had been returning the food I guess they didn't like hearing the truth and yelled at him and treated him horribly. He even showed them on his navigation history that he wasn't the person in question because the last time he was there was December second but she still accused him yelling and being very rude until the daughter confirmed he wasn't the same person. Once they realized "all black men don't all look alike" instead of a refund I requested to exchange the tamales for Quesadillas however when I got the food home they were extremely thin. Not sure what's going on with this place but this will be my last time...
