I've been wanting to come here for quite some time. The vibe is great and I love the space. It took quite a while to be approached with the opportunity to get a drink which seemed odd as it wasn't busy and our server passed us up several times, maybe she just had a lot on her mind but it was noticeable that we had been sitting for a while with nothing on the table. I was here for restaurant week with a friend and we were a little disappointed with the portions. It felt like you got a bit less for what you were actually paying for. The presentation was nice and the flavor and taste of the food was great. But I will say that I would probably not come back here for restaurant week, specifically, I definitely left still very much hungry even after having their "3-course meal". I am curious as to how their normal menu is. So I am willing to come back and see if we can get that fifth star added based on a normal evening.

The social media algorithms were on point. Surprisingly. Came here due to an IG ad while staying in the area. It was so close I walked. I came when they first opened and service was fit for a queen. Kaila was wonderful and would ask for her again. The food was devine! I was quite hungry so I ordered the Market Breakfast and the Green Pozole. Yes just for myself. As I mentioned, I was hungry. And while the breakfast was delicious. That pozole was one of the best I’ve ever had. My SIL’s mom is from Mexico and makes one that I dream about. Yes, that good. So I consider myself a decent gauge, in my humble opinion. Whether I come back for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, I’ll be ordering that pozole on my next visit. I loved the boutique environment and the attention to detail. Presentation of the meal was also very nice. I look forward to eating here again.

We had reservations at the Century Grand, which doesn't serve food, so we decided to stop at The Market by Jennifer's beforehand for a bite to eat. I'd never been here before, but they were nearby and offered vegetarian options. It just happened to be restaurant week, so we were able to try out the special menu. Everything we tried was delicious. I was very pleased with the vegetarian selection. I love that more and more restaurants are offering vegetarian and vegan dishes. The restaurant didn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is clean and comfortable. You can see into the kitchen area, which is pretty cool. The service was good. The restrooms were clean. I'd go back if in the area.

My boyfriend and I had a reservation here last weekend for dinner. We were not made aware that it was "Restaurant Week" and came in to eat because we had a coupon that was sent to us in the mail. When we got there we were handed a three course menu, not the regular menu. No one came to explain what they were offering, or even told us that there would be a special menu that night when we made the reservation. I couldn't eat most of what was being offered as it was mostly red meat and shellfish, so we just decided to ask about getting the appetizer and bottle of wine that was offered on the coupon. The waitress seemed confused and didn't know if we would be able to use the coupon. She spoke with someone and ultimately told us that we could use it, but then wouldn't be able to order any other food and took our menus. We ended up just eating an appetizer, having some wine, and leaving to go down the street and eat. We would have stayed and ordered an entree if they would have been offering their regular menu that night. The appetizer that we had was very good, but we were off-put by the seemingly disorganized service. A table was sat next to us while we were there, and they ended up getting up and leaving because they didn't understand the menu and no one came to explain it to them. My advice would be for the owner to make sure that they advertise any special events a little bit better so anyone coming in for dinner is...

We were excited to try this place but our server, although very nice, seemed very overwhelmed with the 5 tables in there at the time of our visit. We had family in from out of town and decided to try this place for the 1st time. The burger was overcooked and very charred. The French dips were completely raw. Red, cold and raw. I get that’s a desired temp for some but that should reflect on the menu or verbal from the server. She never came back to check on us so we couldn’t ask to bring them up (in temp) a little. The French toast was so good but he literally got the HEEL of the bread! I mean….what? The condiments with it were so good, the fruit was beautiful and tasty then we get the heel of the bread? The chilequiles were decent enough but overall experience was poor. The drinks were weak, the tables were all wobbly and at different levels so it was just uncomfortable trying to share things. We definitely won’t be back and I’m irritated we took our out of town guests across town to try this when there are some fantastic...

I went to the Market around 1:45 and it was completely empty. It was very nice, clean, and inviting. My waitress came over and explained the specials along with the wine list. I opted only for water because I knew I had more stops to make and the heat was already scorching. I ended up getting the Market burger with the Yukon potato chips. I was disappointed that there wasn't an option to switch out the side. They stated that I would have to purchase the side because they don't have a way to upcharge for a replacement. My food came out in a timely manner but it literally had no flavor. I tried to give it a chance but my tastebuds were hollering. The waitress never came back to check on me up. There were 3 separate couples that came behind me and they were given more options. Considering that I was solo, I did think it was a little strange. She finally got my check and takeout box to go. I rated them overall a 4 because for $20 I should have...
