This was a great experience. Why?

Atmosphere open, clean, bright, airy, not too loud, comfortable, easy, roomy, can see into the dumpling making kitchen with tall, clean windows, even when packed it didn’t feel crowded. They feng shui’d the heck out of this place :-) See my inside photos.

Service great, yes, she forgot my water three times, but she was sooo friendly, kind, and apologetic, no biggie. Each server helped us with their recommendations, they were there when we needed them, attentive and friendly. The food came out in perfect time, not too fast, didn’t wait forever. Couldn’t ask for much more here.

Food very good! Clearly fresh and homemade. I love that the dumpling wraps/skins are a bit chewy and dense, yum! We had 5 different dumpling orders, each order had between 6-8 pieces. All were very good. The one in chili sauce with diced scallions and crushed peanuts was amazing. To be honest, after a few dumplings, they kind of all start to taste the same, hard to decipher between chopped pork or chicken inside, and which chopped veggie is which, but they were all very good. I definitely would like to have more choices of sauces, I am very “saucy” and the more the better, so that would be good to add to their offerings. I heavily dipped in chili oil and added some Sriracha to bring the taste a bit further from its baseline. We didn’t try any noodle or rice dishes, would definitely try those in addition next time.

Value I think the value here is good, we had four beers and five or six dumpling dishes, and the total was around $80, really not bad for great ambience, great service, and excellent quality, plentiful food.

The moment I saw them making dough by hand, I knew it was going to be great! The Red Pepper Fish was outstanding, and something I've never seen anywhere else. I was delighted to see they have soup dumplings as well. An instant favorite, and highly recommend! We had our food to-go, which was very quick! Can't wait to dine-in soon because the space was modern and eye-catching. There is a beautiful glass window that lets you see into the kitchen, and watch everyone craft delicious creations. Definitely a place to bring...

Uncle Bao is seriously underrated! Their crispy chicken is chef’s kiss — super crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and that hint of basil? Perfect. I also tried the crispy fish — it packs a punch in the best way possible, bold flavor with that addictive numbing kick. 🌶🔥

The portions are generous, the seasoning is on point, and you can tell they care about quality. Definitely my new go-to for comfort food with a kick....
