If I could give no stars I really would. We placed an online order for our breakfast. I placed my order at the Wendy's that I knew had exceptional service on Litchfield Rd in Goodyear (although this Wendy's is a bit closer to my house). The app states that as long as the order is placed before 10:25am you can place an order for breakfast. Then, gives an option for the way that you would like to pick up the order drive-thru, lobby, etc. I drove to Goodyear to pick up my breakfast order. I arrived a few minutes after 10:30am. I was greeted in drive thru and they were very friendly while picking up my order from drive thru window #2. I drove to the Camelback Wendy's and I stated the same that I stated at the other drive thru. Hi. I ordered a mobile order. They asked for the name and I told them the name of the order. I pulled to the 2nd window and they stated that they did not accept the order. It was placed before breakfast was over and it was no longer breakfast so they do not have it. Mind you it was 10 minutes after breakfast. They stated had I ordered it and selected to pick up in the lobby it would be there waiting for me in the warmer. If they accepted it in drive thru, it would have been cold by now. Wait...what...does that make sense? The app charged for the order that was checked out/charged on the app at 10:21am. There has to be some drive time for a person to pick up the order. Mind you I picked my order up at another Wendy's after breakfast time and drove to this one. Similarly, if it was uber eats or another food driver picking up the order, it would not have been an issue and the order would have been in a warmer until the driver came for the order. So, Scott, a team lead or manager was very rude. Then he went to go speak to someone higher than he was. Now, that person or manager was very rude. He told me that as far as the money that she was charged for the order, she has to go on the app and select cancel to get her money back. In fact, I told him that I was pulling out my phone to record him and would be contacting Corporate. The situation could have been handled professionally and very different. He started slamming the drive thru window and came outside telling other drivers whatever he was telling them. I had no clue but it had to be something negative. A woman even got out of her car and began yelling at me. He was sitting there laughing. I was waiting for the police to come so I could show them and tell them what took place. I was waiting for them to return the money owed since there was no order available. The person that I was picking up the order for...I just told her call them to handle her order and receiving her money back. order that I was there to pick up, call them and handle it from thereI do not know what type of ghetto Wendy's this is but I will never...
Read moreSo I will say the staff was friendly when we ordered in the drive thru. That's the only reason for any stars, and because there's no option for 0 stars. I didnt get all of the chicken that I ordered, which I'm now so thankful for, considering halfway through the crispy chicken sandwich, my son got sick, opened it up to look further and it was slimy underneath. He's been vomiting for the last 15 minutes. Prior to that, my husband said his chicken sandwich was awful and he tossed his in the trash. Probably the best choice he could've made. My Jr. Bacon cheeseburger wasn't really good, but it was cooked at some point earlier on in the night as it was cold and stale when I tried eating it. I can live with that. It's fast food at 11 p.m. It's going to be hit or miss with freshness. What I'm not okay with is the undercooked slime disc that still has my son sick and I'm going to end up in the Emergency Room with him as it seems like food poisoning. My husband is feeling ill so Im sure it's going to be a family trip. I am not in the habit of leaving negative comments or bad reviews to any business. I lean more towards praising and rewarding good rather than knocking and punishing bad. There's enough people complaining but not nearly enough giving credit where it's due. However, this bad review is warranted without a doubt. I keep trying to call to let them know that they need to be more cautious and aware of their cook times and food being served. I dont even want the rest of the food we didnt get. I certainly do not want the bad food replaced. I don't even want my money back at this point. I just want to make them aware of the harm they're causing by being negligent in their food preperation and serving practices. Or atleast they...
Read moreSome of the worse customer service me and my wife had for a fast food place. The guy on the speaker that took the order was friendly, but that was it. Once we got to the window a different person greeted us by sticking out their hand for payment, not even speaking a single word, and didn't even say how much it was. My wife hands over the debit, few minutes later same person gives the card, no words spoken, so my wife asked "How much was charged to the card?" They said the amount and closed the window, also with no receipt. About 5 minutes later the same person sticks our bags of food all the way into the car very fast, no words spoken and closes the window. Naturally this is a fast food place so we parked to check the order if it was correct, it was not. So my wife parks, goes inside with the bags of food for the missing item, heads to the counter, every employee stops and stares at her but says nothing, and than a Manger finally walks up to her and just stands there.... after a awkward moment of silence my wife had to start the conversation and ask for the missing item. Manger asks a employee to grab it, hands it to my wife and doesn't say anything after. It's fast food, I'm not expecting a gourmet restaurant experience but just some basic customer interaction would be nice. I know it's a tough job and it's always super busy but if you are going to have a job that involves guest interactions I would at least expect to be able to speak to customers, especially...
