I come to this Wendy's pretty often for a quick dinner after work but somehow my experience has gotten progressively worse each visit. It starts with the people they allow in the dining area. Everytime I come, without fail, there are always one or two men sat near one corner of the restaurant streaming or playing video games. Yes, you read right. I don't know why they're there or why they're even allowed to bring a giant computer monitor and other equipment inside this restaurant but they're always insanely loud blasting music and yelling to the people they're playing the games with.
The employees seem to just ignore that this is happening??? I'm not saying it needs to be completely silent when I'm eating but the noise level these men make is insane and its gotten to the point where I don't even want to come to this location anymore because it's plain unnecessary for them to be loitering around in a public place that long.
You'll definitely see the occasional homeless person bathing in the restroom or standing in the dining hall wiping their sweat with the napkins near the soda machines and this isn't even exactly the restaurant's fault because the area is rampant with homeless people and they do need a place to cool off from the heat. But the employees seriously could not care any less about who hangs out at this establishment. If you're uncomfortable with that then don't come here in the late afternoon.
Another issue I have is the soda machines. They give out nasty soda that just taste like carbonated water. So if you're looking for soda at this location opt for a tea or lemonade. I've told the employees before about it and they seem not to care.
The fries are always cold. My order is almost always wrong but I come here out of the convenience. I've tried hard to see the positives but I've just gotten tired of it and I needed to let others know not to waste...
Read moreThe service at this location was extremely disappointing. Despite having a full staff, not one employee acknowledged the customers in the lobby, who had already been waiting for over 10 minutes when I arrived. Instead, the staff focused solely on the drive-thru. I wanted to see if this lack of service was exaggerated, and unfortunately, it was not. The lobby customers were entirely ignored.
The manager, Cedrick, was equally disappointing. He avoided addressing the situation by keeping his head down, making sandwiches, and failing to demonstrate any leadership or customer service skills. It’s concerning that a manager, who earns more than his front-line staff, would avoid responsibility and not engage with customers. A lobby customer showed more professionalism and tact than he did. It’s hard to understand how Cedrick holds a management position given his apparent lack of basic customer service.
Furthermore, there was a clear health violation when an animal entered the restaurant due to the staff’s negligence. This is unacceptable, and I intend to report it to the health department. Allowing animals into a food establishment is a serious issue that cannot be ignored, no matter the location.
To add to the chaos, two employees were struggling to locate the order for the person in front of me, with Cedrick seemingly attempted to stay confused.
I would rather drive further away than return to this location. The lack of professionalism and disregard for customer service here is...
Read moreThis Wendy's regularly runs out of ice at night and doesn't inform the customers at all when they give out warm drinks over the drive-through, caught it tonight and asked the gentlemen to see if we could swap our room temperature cokes for bottled water or drinks which may be cold, they stated they didn't have any which is fine, their frosty machine was working and I asked the gentlemen to see if we could swap our drinks for frosties, he consulted with what I assume to be one of his coworkers or manager and promptly stated that they wouldn't be able to without an uncharge.
This would have been fine if they had informed us while ordering that there wasn't any ice.
This wouldn't be a problem if this wasn't the 3rd time this has happened.
We payed for drinks which are awfully tasting and had to throw out, adding ice at home didn't help as they had lost their carbonation.
I hate to post negative reviews, but asking respectfully, without having a hint of a Karen hissy fit, and having experienced this before, pushed me to write this review.
The food was great, but I am iffed regardless.
If you are the manager of this Wendy's location, please fix your ice machine, or inform your workers to let the customers know that there isn't any ice left, I'll take the...
