A year ago we moved to Phoenixville and we had been told about this place from a friend. And decided to give it a try. I cannot tell you how wonderful the food is. I have had several items in the menu and recently was delighted with the salmon. perfectly cooked and melted in your mouth. Huge portions if you desire that but outstanding flavors and freshness. The place looks more like s sandwich shop complete with a cooler to grab your beverage and cafeteria style tables. But do not let that fool you. I think the faiir here is way beyond even Stephen Starr's overrated wanna-be mexican- El Vez. The chef could take a few pointers from this place. I have only been to Mexico once. And had some wonderful and authentic food. I had yet to ever experience anything close until eating here. And worth mentuoning.. The prices are very modest compared to anything on Bridge street. And we were taking care of by a lovely Mexican woman who was at the time the only employee on duty but she was terrific. Also it's a byob if interested. And remember looks can...
Read moreABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! I ordered 70 dollars worth of food in which none of what i ordered was correct.... i brought the food back and explained to the 2 owners that it was incorrect, and they proceeded to tell me it was my fault and i misunderstood! they refused to remake my order or give me any money back! After going back and forth with them for 15 minutes the wife called the husband who came out of the kitchen and raised his voice at me and threatened to call the police on me, and told me to leave! A couple who was eating at the restaurant approached me and gave me their number to contact them if anything went wrong, I in fact called the police myself but was told I would have to take them to civil court because they refused to make right that they messed up my order!!! never in my life have I been treated with such bad service I could never imagine this! I'll be doing everything In my power to tell everyone i know about my experience because I do not wish this experience on anyone! these people should not be in business! please...
Read moreBest tacos in town. That being said, their prices don't match their bills. I have an old menu and picked up a new one recently. The steak tacos indicate $2.25 per taco on each menu. I was surprised to find my bill for 10 tacos was $29.15. I called back to inquire and was told that the steak tacos cost more. Of course, I mentioned the fact that the menu I just had picked up with my recent order has it listed as $2.25. The gentlemen stayed firm and indicated that steak tacos cost more because of the ingredients. Fair enough, but their prices do not reflect this. The call was ended. I understand, but quite upsetting. In the past I have felt the prices were off, but made no inquiry as it was off by at most a couple of dollars.
That being said, the food is worth the money, but can't help but feel cheated. Specially considering the menu I brought home with me has incorrect...
