Creekside Coffee Cafe — Restaurant in Picayune

Food was delicious, Carson helped us. Je was great. The only thing i wish is that they offered eggs in ways ither than scrambled. The breakfast meat plate would be great with over easy eggs. Their coffee drinks are amazing. UPDATE: I was mistaken, this place does have different types of eggs. 100% must visit!

Update: 12/22/24 I will no longer eat inside here. The restaurant went “full service” how far this place has fallen. The full service aspect is to force you to ask for anything you need, and for the prices to be slightly higher. It makes it more difficult to split orders, and the wait times have increased since becoming full service.

Our experience was uncomfortable, we waited to be seated just to be told sit wherever we want (same as before full service). We ordered and told the server we have separate orders. We ordered our food and got our coffees. Specialty coffees don’t have refills (same as before full service). We ate our food and waited almost 15 minutes after we finished eating before someone in my party had to get up and find our server to bring us the bill. When I went to pay I was told the total. I thought the total was a bit high so when I was handed the machine to look at my items I was told that they tip was pre selected so the the itemized part of the bill was already passed. (The server didn’t separate the bill as requested and I couldn’t tell because they selected the tip for me) I was told that if I wanted to change the tip amount I could do it right there while the server stared at me. This made the whole checking out process uncomfortable.

In summary: 1)I didn’t receive any additional services from the restaurant going full service. 2) The server didn’t separate the bills as requested. This was easy when you could order at the counter 3) The server pre-selected a tip and try to make you uncomfortable to change it 4) because specialty coffees are not refillable, there’s no reason for the server to check on you, so they forget you’re there.

Update: 10/13/24 They’ve raised their prices on the menu items I usually get 20-30% overnight. They are good, just be prepared if you’re a regular. Also, they now don’t open till 8am at time of posting. So no more pre-work coffee. I understand businesses must evolve and raise prices, but it’s a bummer for...

My experiences at Creekside have been nothing but positive for a long time, but my last two takeout orders have been less than satisfying. One evening a few weeks ago I placed a takeout order and was given an estimated pickup time. I pulled up to the drive-through window approx. 5 minutes past this time and was told it would be a few more minutes – no problem. 25 minutes later, I finally had my order. During that time, not another single car pulled into the drive-through line and very few people entered the building, so it’s unlikely that they were overwhelmed with orders. I’m not sure what happened, but it was very frustrating.

I decided to try again last week in hopes that things would be better. When my wife arrived home with the order, we discovered the queso and chips was just chips. I also ordered Redfish Acadiana, which is blackened redfish topped with a delicious cajun bisque - it’s one of my favorites. But alas, it was just plain fish. It’s also supposed to come with garlic bread, but that was nowhere to be found. Once again, we were quite disappointed and it’s about a 20 minute drive from our house to the restaurant, so going back for the missing items was just not practical. I’m not sure what kind of issues they’re having with their takeout system, but I’ll wait a while before ordering anything else from there in hopes that things will get...

Absolutely GARBAGE!!!! Stay away from this place!!!! Ordered $40 worth of food for dinner. App said it would be 30 mins for pickup. Got there 4 mins before pickup. Went to the drive-through window, saw the attendant sitting below the window with our feet propped up. Had to knock on the window to get her attention. Once she acknowledged me, she informed me that she couldn’t find my order. After about five minutes waiting, she said oh we found your order. It was paid for on Square. She then asked me to pull into one of the carryout spaces and the order would be brought out to me. 32 minutes later, my food was brought out. No apology, no nothing. Food just handed to me. I told the person that brought it out look I’ve been waiting here for 30 minutes. She basically said we were just busy. No apology nothing. Once I got home with the food, the food was cold, and clearly under portioned. I will NEVER go back here!!!!! EVER!!!!, and rest assured I am going to tell EVERYONE I know what a GARBAGE...
