Only ONE EMPLOYEE (with less than a week’s experience) on a Saturday night running the store by their self…… what kind of MANAGEMENT does this store have? Definitely not any kind of management that knows what a TEAM is. What that is screaming to me is management doesn’t care about the store, the employees, the customers or the community they are supposed to be serving. I do want to make sure the only employee working on Saturday, June 16th, in the evening gets the recognition he deserves….. if this employee doesn’t get burnt out by the stress of giving great customer service, while under pressure from being busy, doing his best with each and every order, from start to finish, by himself, during his first week on the job, he will definitely rise above and be one of the few people in customer service that actually wants to serve his customers…. But working in these types of environments is usually why employees get burnt out, quit without notice, and never learn what it means to work together as a team… Most people quit their job because of poor management, and not being appreciated. When an employee feels valued by management, they are proven to be more productive, and the employees usually become a pretty strong team. Being in the food industry and customer service for most of my life, I really felt bad for this employee. I called because the app wasn’t working correctly for the buy one footlong get one footlong free promotion Subway is currently offering, and of course I was a little aggravated and when I asked how can the promo be honored and is there anything he can do about it, he very politely replied, ma’am, I apologize but this is only my 5th day, I’m here by myself, and it’s kinda busy. My attitude changed quickly, I asked where anyone in management was and if they don’t have someone coming to help, are they coming to help… he said he wasn’t sure, and I really felt bad for this kid. I told him that whoever is part of management for this store sucks a$$. I also said I’m going to make sure my complaints are heard, but none of my complaints are because of him…. In fact, this kid is the only reason I’m even taking time for this review. He definitely deserves some recognition for trying, for not being rude, and under the circumstances, giving the best customer service possible. Anyone in management should look at their employees and be the glue that brings them together as a team. But when management blatantly shows they don’t care what their employees might be dealing with, or if they are ready for a fast paced, stressful shift, then what reason should any other employee have to care either? Read morePlaced an online order. Was told a time to pick up and that order would be ready. Got there 2 mins after time stated. Had to wait 14 minutes to even be acknowledged then another 29 minutes to have them prepare and serve me my order. And there was only 2 customers there in the store at this time. Then after we got order got home the order was totally wrong. One foot long was not what we ordered at all. It was ordered as Chicken and was served beef. Then was charged to add guacamole and cheese and neither was put on the sandwich. Second foot long was just meat cheese not any of the veggies we ordered on the sub. Ordered a dozen cookies and they are usually our families favorite, but these were overcooked, dark brown and crunchy not soft and fresh like they normally are. And it was at noon not late at night. So they should have been fresh. The girl that served us was not very customer service friendly at all and was really quiet rude. Not just to me but the other 2 customers in the store. The only good thing I can say is she just changed her gloves between customers. But all in All the worst experience I've ever had at any Subway. Awful. Will not go back to...
