Denny's — Restaurant in Pico Rivera

If i could give negative stars i would..Posted to facebook to let everyone know..this place sucks!! Worst service. BY HISPANIC THIN NIGHT MALE MANAGER. Just horrible do not waste your time! I went to order their loaded nacho tots..and the manager said "they had updated the menu6 months ago"..(although i had been there 2 months ago and ordered the same appetizer..) so I wasn't familiar with the current "updated" version( looked like someone crapped on my tater tots,new chilli or something) so I wasn't happy with my order and I sent it back. upon sending it back. And asking to reorder without the chilli..the manager said that he was going to charge me for the return item which we never ate. I was appalled, that is when I became hysterically upset with him and we walked out without even eating our food.we will never return again this is the worst dining experience at Denny's ever I do not recommend this Denny's to anybody ever there's a skinny tall Mexican manager that is always working by himself late at night he's the only server and he claims to be the manager you can find him late nights over worked and understaffed which makes the food slow and the service terrible he apologizes for nothing and can tell you he resents his job for having to be stuck there late at night serving people he doesn't give a s* about. I turned my plate over and I walked out and I don't feel guilty for any actions I feel so disrespected as a customer and will never go back there ever again. I will definitely be calling the corporate office about this Denny's location so that way that he can get proper training as far as I thought the customer is always right or at least in this point made an effort to accommodate them considering that they're paying for the food or being charged for food that they don't like..all i can say is Im a NORMS GIRL FOR LIFE NOW..BETTER DEALS AND STAFF. And knowing that the manager has to suffer thru the night shift alone and stressed is enough payback for the crappy service he provides..cant spread your...

Update my new fav dennys plate is… the classic benny! Mmm you choose how you want your eggs and i got them p o a c h e d. The runny yolk mixed with the hollandaise to use on the hashbrown and the english muffin. Their hollandaise was good! My respect to the chef👨🏻‍🍳 neither poaching nor the hollandaise are easy feats. Anywho will order this from now on! Also the host was nice he made us feel welcome and that was appreciated since norms was closed despite their 24 listing.

this denny’s made the best version of chicken addiction bowl I have had. the waitress was nice and we went at about 3:40am after discovering norms closes to recover (I wasnt upset at norms but it was cold outside) anyway their location is clean and they also have a neighbor fallas paredes there? I didn’t notice because everything was closed have to go again for some chicken and clothes good stuff right here. The garlic bread was perfectly crisp and the alfredo sauce quantity was just right for the quinoa and broccoli to get it too. The only reason I'm giving it 3 starts is because I didn't like the way they treated a man that all he wanted to do was eat. Yes he was being loud but he wasn't saying any thing wrong or cursing. They left him waiting for the longest time he started getting impatient and even then he got a bit loud but not disrespectful. Until one of the waitresses got the courage to go and talk to him, and ask him to leave telling him, I'm not going to serve you. You have to leave because your bothering the customers. That's when he started getting mean with his words. In my opinion if they had served him right away he would have been gone and all would be fine. He was not planning to sit and eat he wanted food to go. I don't understand why there wasn't a manager on site that should or could have handle things better.
