Jim's Super Burgers — Restaurant in Pico Rivera

Witnessed two cashiers rudely deny a homeless women water on a very hot day. They asked her to leave. Once she was outside, they began trashing the woman in Spanish. I speak Spanish and was appalled. I heard the entire interaction and the woman asked kindly and did not behave in any way that would warrant this kind of treatment. She wanted a cup of tap water. She left the store looking embarrassed and humiliated. All she asked for was a small , plastic cup of water. I have asked the same employees for water on several occasions for water and was never denied. And i made no purchases. Other customers who also watched were disgusted and they confronted the cashiers. The cashiers were two robust woman. They spoke mostly spanish, one blonde and the other black hair with her eye brows threaded. The food mattered little. I wrapped it up to eat elsewhere. Ill be taking a break from eating there, hopefully they can address this issue they clearly have with their employees customer service skills. If i could choose ZERO STARS, i would. TUESDAYS! Jr.. burgers on special for $1.69- Now that's the best deal I've come across up to date. So being on a lunch budget, Tuesdays are my favorite days to grab two Jr. burgers for lunch. Actually one is enough, but because I usually haven't eaten since the day prior, I'm really hungry by the time I get to Jim's. Jim's has been around for a long time, and has established themselves as part of the community. They actually used to be across the street, opposite corner from where they're now located. Chilli cheese fries, DUIs, burgers, pastrami sandwiches, weekday breakfast deals, Mondays, they have a Jr chilli burger on special, and Wednesday they have a Jr chicken sandwich special- staff is always friendly and willing to help. Good food, but terrible management/poorly run. Multiple times I've called and it just kept ringing. I've driven there, place was empty, and then called while there just to see what they do... and they just ignore the call... The people here are banking off the name and not their service. Sad to say, because living close by for thirty years I've loved the food, but the current workers don't care about customer service. They're just there collecting a check. Whether or not they deserve it... Still like the burgers and the D.u.i., but this place has become a backup because there's the same quality food if not better right across the street, with better service. This is not the place to go now. I just wish that the current employees didn't mess it up for...
