La Minerva Restaurante — Restaurant in Pico Rivera

Originally came with some co-workers and was waiting for an opportunity to come back. Nice little restaurant with your typical colorful Mexican decor. They have music playing and have a couple of televisions, although today they were off.

Giving them 3 star because of the time we had to wait to get a drink, about 15 minutes. Although when I finally placed my order and received my horchata it was really good, not too too sweet, just the way I like it,

The food was really good and tasty, but since I forgot to mention to them not to put salsa and the salsa was really spicey.

Do try the tacos volteados. They are really delicious and full of flavor and the handmade corn tortillas are really good. The chorizo taco was also really good. And finally a must have for me was the cheese quesadilla which was not bad at all, but I have had better.

Will probably come back again because the good did have a lot of flavor but this time I won't forget to tell them to...

I had been wanting to try this place. I had to try the taquitos doradas con carnitas and the coffee. I ordered taco dorada of requeson regular, taco dorada of frijol regular come with cabbage, queso fresco, crema, tomatoe. 1 taco dorada of patatoe with carnitas it is serve with cabbage, queso fresco, crema, carnitas on top with a red sauce that taste like tomatoe sauce. The tacos where very good very fresh it is made after u place order so just be patient. The coffe was also good has taste of hint of canela it also does not need to be prepared it is good just as is. It was all freshly made very crunchy the requeson taquito was very good has good amount of requeson. It all reminded me of mexico authentic food. Have to give it a chance and is it not expensive. Very dissatisfied and disappointed with this place. Food isn’t what it used to be 👎🏼 no taste and not only that , the prices have sky rocket insanely high . Waitresses need to be train better in attending and specially in SAFETY ( BIG TIME ) I also noticed the table areas where dusty AND OUR NAPKINS WERE LIKE SOMEONES LEFTOVERS! Also they are to stingy with chips and salsa when you arrive. If your looking for a place for dinner and have a drink or two save your money and go somewhere else, this place ain’t it. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 Food was not good. Our tortas had very little meat and with no flavor. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED! No wonder place was empty when i arrived . I knew something was off....
