I’m not sure how to start this review, the host was very friendly and smiling when she received us. She let us know that a video recording for a movie was going on. Another person came to told us that it would be over in a few minutes. There were no customers and the music was extremely loud, but decided to stay anyway. We wanted to try a new place. I made some ear plugs from napkins, and the noise was a but more tolerable. It was almost impossible to hear the what we were told and of course my sunny side up eggs came extremely over cooked. My husband’s food came first, but no knife, and waited 7 minutes for his tortillas to arrive. His food was cold by then. My food came close to 10 minutes after his food. My pancakes were so cold the butter didn’t melt. I didn’t get tortillas for my food. I sent the pancakes back to be put in the microwave (I did not ask for new ones) and when she brought them back they were still not hot enough to melt the butter. By now there were a few more customers and the waitress did not look happy at all and she looked upset when I asked for a knife. The food was tasty (except for my overcooked eggs) things to consider improving as a new restaurant 1. Bring the table settings and complete set of utensils right after the drinks. 2. While they cook the food bring the salsas, and other things that go along with the order. 3. Bring the food for everyone at the table at...
Read moreSo this review is waaay long over due. I visited for the first time around ends of July/beginnings of August. Let me start by saying the service and food is amazing! Sasha and Amber were my servers the first visit and they were very kind and just a pleasure to talk to. I had the chicken mole enchiladas which were absolutely delicious. It was very savory; the chicken was moist the bellpeppers were perfectly sauted and the mole was amazing. My partner had the Carne asada plate with fries which he enjoyed very much. At the end the owner Michael came out to greet us and we got to know more about the business and the different entertainments they hosts throughout the week.
I referred my mom and she tried the chicken pozole, she texted me saying it was delicious
Fast forward to today, I had to try once again the enchiladas de mole con pollo and it was a hit again, I also want to mention the rice and beans are great. I'm sure people have experienced having dried out rice and thick frijoles. Not here la comida is consistent. I ate with my mom and she tried the beef taquitos this time and she enjoyed her plate as well.
Our server was very nice and attentive, I forgot to get her name but I hope that the owner let's her know that my mom and I were appreciative of her service 💕 Thanks again Maracas 🪇 Glad you are local and definitely recommending more...
Read moreOverpriced! expected a much better burrito for theprice. The lack of meat is compensated by loads of beans and rice. also bought the mole plate. I'd have mole doña María anytime than buying this again. My wife is from Puebla, and she makes the authentic mole poblano, but she didn't feel like going through 2 hours of grinding and mixing ingredients, so she asked me to buy her the "authentic" mole they have at this place. Just awful. There really is no authenticity in their food. At best it's catered to people who really don't know what authentic Mexican food is. Also had a shrimp cocktail, I swear to you I must have counted 7 pieces of shrimp, and lots of other stuff. Will never go back, even if the place is just a block away from...
