I went here for the free pulled pork sandwich that they were offering through Facebook if you follow them, and despite having to drive out of my way to get it it was very much worth it. Not a huge fan of pulled pork, but there's was actually tasty on its own, without needing a lot of the sauce. The thing is they serve all the meat unsauced and you can fill your sauce to your hearts content, they offer three different varieties , original, spicy, and super sweet. I will with the spicy which really seem more like sweet barbecue sauce with flecks of Redpepper in there, but was appropriately spicy and just as barbecue should taste had a good balance between sweet and heat. The meat was well smoked and had a good cure on it, though the gentleman working did bring it out of the bag whenever I went to order, it was kept in a oven @temp, for sanitary reasons. About my only complaint would be that they put the bonds on a roll of water and then the toasting on them is very light, so you end up with essentially a slightly warm berry buttery bun to go with your sandwich, I just took it home and threw it in the toaster later myself and it was delicious like that, but could've undermines the dining experience. Staff were all really friendly and nice, place was clean, and since I was the only customer I was in and out in less than two minutes oh and there's free ice cream. Seriously free ice cream....
Read moreI thought this restaurant was average overall. I’ve eaten here a few times and it’s been average every time. My wife and I went together for lunch today as it was something different and we wanted to give it another shot. She ordered the ribs and I ordered the brisket sandwich special.
The brisket and ribs entrees were pretty good, but the sides were a big let down.
We both got the potato casserole, and then my wife ordered green beans and I ordered the Mac and cheese. The potato casserole was bland, and did not taste like anything special. The green beans were cold and also bland. The Mac and cheese was so so; not the best, but I’ve had worse. It wasn’t too hot either though, I had to eat that side first before it got cold.
We also both upgraded to Texas toast, and it was basically just thick cut bread. It wasn’t toasted or hot, and it was barely buttered. I love Texas toast, so I was very disappointed here.
They do offer free soft serve vanilla ice cream with each meal, which is nice, especially for kids.
I’d much rather go to City Barbecue, which has similar pricing, but in my opinion is much better especially in regards to the overall quality of the entrees, sides, Texas toast, and...

This is my 2nd time there & 2nd time they came up short, I'm done won't spend another $1 there! It's sad cause if this place actually did it right and put forth a little effort it be a booming business & people wouldn't feel like it's so expensive cause USUALLY u get what u pay for, NOT HERE! Ordered pick up an hour before closing. At first was only givin 1/2 my order had to go back in & ask for the rest, OK no big deal; mistakes happen! Get home and ready to enjoy the chili top baked potato only to find it's stuffed with little to nothing else but bacon bits, like 3 handful of bacon bits!?!? Couple piece of shred cheese here n there, 2 or 3 grn onions & next to nothing sour cream!! That's not even a mistake, I'm sorry but that was deliberately done for who knows why!! Customer service is out the window anymore, I swear! & This place might be ok if they employees that cared possibly. Dont do to others that you wouldnt want Done to urself, it's simple really! & For the prices they charge you'd expect to be done right & taken...
