Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Pikesville

I hope the owner reads this. The 3 stars are not for the service or ice cream. In this crisis of COVID, protocols and mandates are important. Visited here on a very recent Sunday, a man and his young daughter stood in line, both without masks. I could see most people in line were uncomfortable. When the man got to the window for service he was allowed to place and order and stay in line. That protocols are not being followed makes me not wish to come here again. Safety is a must to keep all of us well, I am sad this man was allowed...

Have been to this location for years. Service is always good. I appreciate them for having patience with my wife and kids who take a long time making up their minds what they want and the flavors. Didn't know they had different flavors of custard available. I tried cheesecake custard and peach water ice gelati. It was goood!! They are wearing gloves and masks while preparing orders which is A+ to me...

Ordered a lemon 🍋 ice...took a few bites. Then realized they was something in it that didn't look right. IT WAS A BUG🐛. I went back to get a refund. The Asia lady kept trying to get my daughter to toss it in the trash. She also told us the bug did not come from them. She refused to give me a refund.
