Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Pikeville

It’s Sunday January 29 at 1pm. My daughter and I arrived at approximately 12:40pm and ordered two chicken strip baskets and a banana split. The chicken strip baskets came out quickly but i had forgotten to ask for ketchup (since they no longer have packs of it out for the public since these things are like $.03 per pack and they can’t have something that valuable just sitting out eye roll)

I waited 4 minutes to get ketchup after one of the two total employees seen me standing there within seconds but proceeded to ignore me. After receiving the ketchup me and my daughter proceeded to eat.about halfway through our meal I asked for the banana split we ordered thinking it would take a few minutes for them to make and serve. Well 10 minutes later after our meal was complete and a 5 year old was restless wondering where her banana split was….it arrived!

This is the worst experience at DQ. We paid a lot of money for 6 pieces of chicken, gravy and fries but we don’t come to DQ because of the prices. There are plenty of cheaper options out there but we expect to be served in a timely manner if we are going to a fast...

Bad DQ! Often the place is dirty, with tables and floors needing attention. The bathroom often lack supplies. Tell me how are the employees to wash their hands before returning to work when there is no soap in the restroom? If all this isn't enough, they almost never have what I want. They are always out, or the machine is broken, or the person who makes it isn't in.

The help can be somewhat smart mouthed. When I ordered something and they were our of it, I complained, The young lady (I'm using the term rather loosely here) told me that they make the waffle cones on Wed. and maybe I should come n on Wed's instead of Fri.'s.

Since this is small town we have very limited options, But if I had another option, I would take it.

Hello, former DQ employee speaking. Do not go to this Dairy Queen. It’s gross. First of all, they don’t wear gloves when handling food. Also, I seen someone eat out of a blizzard and then give it to a consumer. They reuse old nasty condiments packs, napkins, and silverware. Wonder why it takes so long to get your food? Well, no one is doing their job. (Especially the managers) while you’ve been waiting 20-40 minutes on an ice cream cone the managers are sitting back in the back talking about what she/ they bought off of temu or what color Stanley cup they are going to buy. IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT BECOMING AN EMPLOYEE, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST: • You will go days without getting a break •They will cut your hours down ( I went from 40 hours a week to only working 1 day a week) And a note to missy or Jennifer, if you delete this I will call and email corporate.
