Our initial experience with Creg Damron was amazing. Our sales person, Shawn, was friendly and very helpful. We found a couch we loved, getting it ordered was easy, and it was delivered in a decent timeframe.
Our couch was delivered in November of 2024. In July of 2025, our toddler was standing on the couch, her foot slipped behind the cushion and ended up getting cut. We pulled the cushion off and saw that there was a nail sticking out from the frame that had cut her. It was then that we noticed damage to the cushion for the nail repeatedly jabbing and pulling at it. We then pulled the rest of the cushions off and noticed that this was an issue in several different spots. We had an active warranty so we contacted Creg Damron on July 17, 2025. They asked us to send photos of the damage, which we did. They requested clearer photos a few days later and we sent them on July 18, 2025. They said they would have to forward the photos to someone else. On July 21, 2025, I sent an email just to follow up to make sure the photos were good enough quality. They informed me that they couldn’t really tell anything about the damage and would have to send someone out to look at it.
We didn’t hear anything else from them and never received a call about anyone coming out to assess the damage. On August 5th, I reached out for a follow up and received no response.
On August 23, 2025, my husband called them and left a voicemail. When they returned our call they acted as if this was the first they were hearing of the issue and that they’d have to have someone else call us back. Our call was returned that same day, the only answer we got was (once again) that they’d have to send someone out to assess the damage.
It is now September 8, 2025, and we still have not had anyone come out. No one has reached out to us. Nothing has been done.
I’m attaching the same photos that I had sent to them in regards to the damage.
UPDATE: on September 11, 2025 they picked our couch up for repairs and apologized for the...
Read moreTrust me, I am extremely grateful for the mattress company who donated the 100 mattresses to the needy. I appreciate the fact that Creg Damron Furniture tried to distribute the mattresses as intended. They advertised 6pm. To start disbursing. I arrived @4:50. I counted 23 cars in front of me. They advertised 2 mattresses maximum per family/vehicle until the donations ran out. There were enough at least to cover 50 cars. I was trapped in at this point. Cars started arriving and parking dangerously in the median and shoulder. At this point the police had to stop because it caused a very hazardous situation for all involved. This could have gotten someone killed. Instead of limiting the number of vehicles and responsibly disbanding(wave off) the potential of risking life and limb. By the time traffic was almost completely shut down. With pedestrians crossing 4 lanes of traffic to seek a free mattress(100 cars too late) all in the middle of rush hour traffic on a friday afternoon. At this point they started loading the cars up front that were just stopping in the road. Needless to say me and half of the 23 people in front of me wasted their time. Advertised as 1st come/1st served.....ALL YOU NEEDED to do was write down 1-50 on little bits of paper and hand out as tix. Then flag off the other cars.......thats it! But that would have gotten a lot less attentionand would have been a lot safer for your patrons and citizens. Then it took me 25 mins to get out. this was either due to extreme stupidity and lack of planning or was the most clever advertising scheme I have seen in a while! Great job guys! PS. I was really in the need for my children who are moving here from NC to live with me full time after a 2 year...
