This restaurant is actually quite good, though prices can be a bit steep for what you get. We're vegetarians and love the tofu and that was a bit hard and chewy, so not great. The flavor was alright, and for the lunch combos in particular it's totally a solid deal. I'd recommend the Gen Tsao Tofu and would definitely skip their Kung Pao. Their egg rolls are solid!

Nicest Chinese restaurant lady I have ever dealt with. She actually had patience and helped me try to find a meal that suited my diet. She was friendly and polite, too. The food was very good, but not uniquely good. Just good tasting Chinese food. But much better than the Chinese restaurants in my area.

This is an overrated place or maybe the chef is on-strike when we visited. The fried rice comes with our lunch special is almost spoiled and have a smell. It is just not the rice we usually have. However the dinning table is clean. Nothing else is special.

The best Chinese take out /dine in In the area. Its a small family run operation with a pretty standard New York shotgun layout where you can see straight through to the back door and watch how the cook prepares your food. When not in school the two children take the orders and clean the dine in tables. They also handle some of the cash transactions. They have something there that I have not seen at any other Eastern food establishment. A scale model of a section of the Great Wall of China. Very detailed and unique. I give them 5 Stars not only for their great food and warm hospitality but because they work so well together as a "Happy Family"and a true testament that if any person works hard and diligent and has a genuine love and passion for any field of business they want to entrepreneur in life that the American Dream is still achievable in small...

While visiting the area our family was craving Chinese and after reading the reviews we decided to try Taste of China. Taste of China exceeded our expectations in taste, quality and variety of different options. The place can be a little difficult to find the first time with Google maps but once inside we could tell it was definitely a favorite with the locals and did a huge takeout business. We had the sweet sour chicken, vegetable fried rice, hot & sour soup, egg rolls and spring rolls all which were excellent. The food was made fresh when ordered and the fried rice was even moist the next day warmed up for lunch because they give you huge portions you won’t be...

We recently moved to the Pilot Mountain area and just visited Taste of China for the first time. It was nothing short of excellent! We got the General Tso chicken, vegetable fried rice, two spring rolls and a side of sweet and sour sauce. All was fresh, piping hot and very tasty, and it was enough for dinner for two plus lunch tomorrow. Service was fantastic, too - very friendly! We are tickled to pieces to find such a good Chinese restaurant just five minutes from home, and we will definitely be back. (Side note: the General Tso had a bit more heat to it than we're used to, but it was delicious nonetheless. A spoonful or two of plain rice afterward helped...
