First visit, prices were reasonable for town. Promptly seated, near immediate delivery of chips & salsa and request for drink orders. Needed some time to review menu. Once ordered, drinks came quickly. Entrees arrived in reasonable time. Good temperature and very tasty! Only negatives were salsa needed more onion & cilantro, and hot sauce was pretty tame. It was crazy busy as we left for Tuesday night, very loud in dining room. Note credit cards assessed transaction fee, use cash to avoid.

I came here for the first time the other day with my wife. She's been many times but we lived out of town for many years and just came back. My first experience wasn't so great, food came fast, service was fast and most of the food was good. However, I got the chicken and rice plate and it just tasted funky. Everything else was great. My wife loves this place and since it was my first time, ill definitely give them another chance. Something tells me it's worth it. Once I return, I'll update.

First time trying the place out. We come the Pine Mountain often to ride bikes, like many others. I went for the Steak Verde enchiladas. Dish was well cooked and plated. Service was excellent and very prompt and friendly. Lighting was a little dim (as you can see in the photos). In spots, the ceiling looked like it was about to fall. Idk.. it felt older than it probably was? No real complaints. Quaint spot. Worth a shot if you're in town or passing through. Give the small town spot a try 👍

I love this Mexican restaurant. I am from MD but have been eating here for years and have never been disappointed. Anytime I visit Pine Mountain this place is at the top of my restaurant rounds. The staff is so dang friendly and accommodating. The food is amazing! And great prices too. Try the Texas Margarita, its huge, but bring a DD with you lol. They serve wine and beer too. Their menu is extensive and everything is always fresh. Plus you can order ala carte. When you first sit down they bring you a big basket of warm tortillas and a mild salsa. And they are happy to bring you more if needed. If you prefer a hotter salsa, ask for it, it's so hot they dont offer it automatically. I love it. My favorite item on the menu is their shrimp ceviche. Its awesome! They offer it as an appetizer but it's really big, so sometimes I take half home. I also love their basic tacos...beef, lettuce, and piles of cheese. I've tried other menu items and all have been great. It's all table seating, no bar area. Family oriented. Great for bday parties too. This place is seriously popular with the locals, so if you go on a weekend night expect to stand in the lobby for half hour or more. The waiting area gets a bit crowded because it's also where the checkout register is. You get your check at your table but you pay on your way out through the waiting area. If you from this area you are likely to run into someone you know. Hope you enjoy as much as...

Well when I walked in there I asked for a pina colada with no liquor and it was to go but the guy asked he’s daughter with the liquor and she just stared at him I had mention no in the first place and when he brought out my drink I try it before I left it tasted terrible it’s has a lil burn to your throat and it didn’t taste right so I’m most definitely not going to pay for something that’s I don’t like especially something that doesn’t taste right and and also had a sour taste so I went back to the guy I told him it is ok if I get my money back he said he can’t so I waited in line then it was crazy how he lied to me but he daughter gave me back my money but while I was waiting he was saying well everyone else like the pina colda and I was like sir everyone has different taste buds and I told him I try different Mexican restaurants pina colda and it never tasted like that then he told me will don’t u ever come back here again I wasn’t even being rude about it but seriously don’t talk to someone like that how would u think it made that person feel u don’t know what people go through and he just...

My husband and I stayed at the pine mountain cabins for a weekend and decided to eat at San Marcos. The food was ok nothing to rave about but the service was awful. The waiter was not attentive to us at all. We were seated fast which was a plus because we were hungry, one reason we decided on Mexican...quick service. The waiter took our order, delivered our food And drinks and never returned. We saw him be very attentive to everyone else but he never showed us anymore attention. We wasn't offered anymore water, salsa or dessert!. I did want to try the fried cheesecake but my husband was so appalled by the service he was ready to go asap without leaving a tip and that is so not him. I wish I would've gotten the server's name but all in all We got full and he didn't get a tip. I wonder if us being an interracial couple have anything to do with it. Whatever it was we will not be back to pine mountain ga. San Marcos thanks for setting the tone...
