Back on May 11th 2022 I went to this store to find my brand of cigarettes' which was the 5th store I stopped at. By the time I stopped here, I was very aggravated! Then this store didn't have them either. Well, that put me over the top!! The young lady there Alexia waited on me. I was not friendly to her at all. I'm so sorry for that! Every since that day, I felt so bad about being a mean person and felt like a rotten human being because it wasn't Alexia's fault! She was really sweet and remained professional. At 62, you look for as many things to take you back to your childhood or at least a better time. Can a grocery store do that? Well, Pine Mountain Supervalu does for me. This location reminds me of the A&P my family shopped at in the late 60s and early 70s. Well stock shelves, courteous service, and an actual friendly human being at the register. The produce is fresh, the meat counter is full and has no smell whatsoever. The aisles and adjacency’s are well placed. This is the only grocery store in Pine Mountain, not including the dollar stores. With that being said, the prices are obviously going to be more expensive than they would be at a larger retail store. But they have a great selection, some that I haven't been able to find anywhere else. The produce is pretty good, on the days after it's came in. The canned vegetables and boxed pastas are better than anywhere else I've looked. The cuts of meat could use some improvement.
