Dino Village — Attraction in Pine Mountain

We were kinda excited for this place and it was pretty neat to see the animated dinosaurs but they definitely need some work! This place has so much potential but half of what the website said was included didn't actually exist here anymore and not worth the price. There is not a mini golf course or ride on animals. You can not touch any of the dinosaurs or sit on any to take pictures. There were many with tears, cracks, missing pieces, skin/hair worn off. There is a large slab for the kids to ride tricycles all in the sake of hopefully selling one. They charge for both adults and children when it should only be a charge for children, there is absolutely nothing for adults. They have two sand boxes for fossil digs but the fossils were so huge that they can't really even be covered by sand. Hopefully someone buys this and turns out into a great...

This place is GREAT particularly for parents of young children (ages 3 to 8). The area’s size is just right-not too large not too small. The parents can relax at tables beneath umbrellas as watch their kids play. The area is well enclosed by a large fence offering an additional layer of protection from young kids wandering off. The models are stationary but move their necks, tails, and make sounds. There is also a large courtyard/patio with tricycles/vehicles/little tyke cars for kids of all ages to ride-plenty of activity. Sprinklers spray on the kids riding the trykes to keep them cool. Also a large sandbox where kids can dig and search for fossils. We arrived yesterday (Friday 9/29) at 4:15. The website and FB page both said it was open and the owner was called the day prior and he confirmed he would be open also. Except he wasn't. My kids were so disappointed after having driven an hour to get there and talked about it all day. I tracked down the owner, claiming to want to book a corporate party (which of course I didn't but I knew he wouldn't call me back if he knew the real reason for my call). He called me right away when he smelled money. When I asked him to open up for us to honor his word, he refused and didn't offer any way to rectify the situation. So disappointing for me and my children that somebody would behave this way and do that!!! Don't give this guy your money! Dino...
