The pizza here is terrific- honestly, the best I've had in the Sandhills. I won't be buying from anywhere else anymore.

The pies come at a premium cost but the ingredients and size compensate for this. The 20" and 24" pies are larger than my whole family can finish over a weekend. The toppings are fresh and freshly prepared for each order. The owner (I forget his name) takes his time to make each one right. If you want a 15 minute pie, go find a 15-minute chain. These are approaching artisanal quality.

The restaurant itself is wide open and colorful with a wall of games on one side and diner-style booths on the other. It was welcoming the moment I walked in. Pinehurst Pizza has won my exclusive patronage for pizza...

Moved to Pinehurst over a year ago and have heard so many great things about Pinehurst Pizza. Finally deciding to try it we bought two medium pizzas. The first shock was the outrageous price, but I concluded they must be great for that price. After tasting I was sadly disappointed. These pizzas were just average. Not the worst I've ever had, but not even close to the best. Certainly NOT worth the price. Won't buy from here again. If you are looking for good pizza go to Brixx or the Harris Teeter(HT) in pinehurst. They both have better pizza and HT is a much better price point. Maybe I'm just spoiled, being from the Midwest and having so many great pizza...

The restaurant had a really charming and lively atmosphere that made for a fun dining environment. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the ambiance. The pizza appeared to be food service quality—premade crust with minimal effort in preparation. Toppings beyond cheese seemed to be added post-bake, without any extra cheese to hold them in place, which made the slices feel incomplete. The dough was noticeably cool, suggesting it had been refrigerated, and the crust lacked flavor and texture. Even the beer, which I hoped would redeem the meal, tasted watered down.
