I went into the Wawa to purchase a breakfast sandwich.. I paid for it then I went to the restroom. The bathroom was so nasty and scary. Not only was it dirty and smelled horrendous It looked scary as if it were on a scary movie with someone that may have been abducted. Thats how creepy it looked.. not to mention the tissue was low in each stall.. I came out to go pick up my sandwich. I get in the car take a few bites as I realize there is mold on my sandwich. I come back to return it. I told the cashier ..he got me a manager named Jennifer. Jennifer was very nice and apologetic. She refunded me and also gave me a $10 gift card, she offered to remake it by that time I was so turned off and disgusted I declined. I hope I do not get sick. The only thing I did not like that Jennifer did was questioned if it was really mold and not Char from being baked. I then showed her the mold and discussed with her that I am in the food industry and I know mold when I see it … For the most part Jennifer was very friendly and handled it fairly well. I just wish I didn’t have to experience that from the jump. I’ll never go back. With this happening to my sandwich and how the bathroom was it now makes me question if the employees are sanitary. And if they are following the proper...
Read moreThis is a great place to stop when I charge my car at any time of day or night. I love what I call "the parade of coffees" with 10 coffee servers to mix and match my own combo. Today 4 are empty, so i chose the cinnamon cereal cappuccino in teh cappuccinio and chocolate machine, which is as close to cinnamon cereal that any coffee will taste. The ICEE® machine with 4 options and the Coca cola ® freestyle machine offers all coca cola ® products. Wawa has its own brand of ice cream competing with Talenti and Ben and Jerry's brands and the free standing freezer of mini-melts ice cream. I resist the temptation to try more pizza, served after 4 and select a sensible salad. I can always count on fresh bananas and cut up fruit for a healthy treat. Or can head to the beer cave, with a notice that alcohol is sold only 8am to 3 am 7 days a week. Wheel chair access entry/exit with a heavy door. Mens and women's accessible restrooms have a heavy door, grab bars and more than 5ft x 5ft space. Service is...
Read moreI love Wawa. Ever since I can remember, Wawa has been a part of my life. For years I hoped Wawa would come to Florida and my family and I were thrilled when they did! From fresh hoagies to cold smoothies, breakfast sandwiches, soups and sides- there's a little something for everyone. They have various promotions throughout the year from Any size coffee for $1 to Hoagiefest and Siptopia. Stores are generally clean, Employees are usually friendly and conscientious, and prices are reasonable. Gas prices are competitive. It's nice to know There are self order Kiosks and disinfecting wipes to clean the screen before you touch it. If you like Herr's Cheese curls, ( my favorites) you can actually find a couple of flavors which are very hard to find elsewhere and when nobody else had Tasty Cakes, you could find them at Wawa as far back as I can remember. Coffee is hot and a self serve station offers a variety of creamers and flavors. Please stay safe by wearing a mask and keeping your...
