Sickening experience. Walked in, sat down and someone came to take our order, a Meat Lovers with pineapple, along with black olives on half of it, and a cheese pizza. Ordered cheese sticks as an appetizer. They didn’t take any notes on our order at the table, seemed a bit confused, we were all looking at each other with uncertainty when she walked away.
My wife decided she was just gonna go to the counter to verify the order to be safe. When my wife got to the counter, the person who had took her order questioned my wife again to be sure what we ordered. (?) So my wife gave the whole order again. Glad we went back to give the order again.
My wife came back and sat down with the receipt, and I noticed on the receipt they had messed up what toppings went on the pizza. So both of us went BACK to the counter, waited on someone else to get free so we could talk to someone else, and asked them to please help us with the order.
Went back and sat down. Time goes on. No cheese sticks. Then the girl comes back and sets a stack of plates on our table saying “Y’all’s food will be out shortly.” I’m thinking the cheese sticks aren’t coming. My wife starts handing out plates, and to our sickening surprise, the third plate down in the stack is covered in about a half cup or more of Thousand Island dressing and scraps from someone else’s salad.
We all about gag, and say that is it. We’re just done. Bring the plates to the counter and tell them just let us pay for the drinks so we can leave. They gave us the drinks free, thankfully.
I am usually not picky at all with food or restaurants, and we had overlooked the slick floor with bits of food… but this is just an absolute failure of customer service and food safety as well. I normally love Pizza Hut in general, but for the sake of customer service and our health, we will not...
Read moreAs a former employee at this establishment. I can definitely give an insight on how this restaurant is managed. The hygiene of the workers are poor. several of the people handling your food have never heard of washing their hands they will touch their hair, phones, face or nose and go back to fixing your food without following proper sanitation. on that topic while working here if you order the wings there is a high chance they might drop it on the ground and put it back in the container before saucing. at one point during my experience there was a employee coming in with lice spreading to other workers and still coming to work with lice the next day. As far as how the employees treat the costumer they will treat you with respect and as soon as you leave they will tear into everything about you. there was constant drug use with shift manager and minors who worked there bring in weed or dap pens. How they treat their employees is the worst treatment I think anyone could receive in a job setting. first the pay start at 8 dollars an hour on any position. and they overwork you to the extreme while server will play on on their phone and make more then everyone. they treat the cook as the lowest position even though they are the reason the company runs. don't even think about asking a position change as the manager will rudely sit you down and tell your responsibility and explains to that it your fault your feeling unappreciated. at the beginning it seems like a fun job and good experience but personally working as someone in retail I make 11 dollar an hour which is the same pay for a manger at Pizza Hut. ps I hope the manager reads this because she mistreated...
Read moreUPDATE 1.24.22 I was contacted by someone named Joyce the morning after the previous review (shown below) and was quite frankly surprised at the promptness of her reply to my review of their store. As stated in my 1st review an off order out of 2 years of excellent pizza really in not that big of a deal, especially when the staff and cleanliness we're above average by far. Ms. Joyce not only was overly apologetic, very sincere and truly concerned about one order being "off' but went above and beyond by her graciousness of replacing our order b at no charge. This Sunday we called and spoke with a pleasant employee named Jr. Not only was he more than courteous, but also called when the order for pick up we placed was ready as we were tied up in a football game and was double-checking it wasn't for delivery, which he had earlier cleared up as well!!! Kudos to your team for not only the perfect pizza and hot wings but also the excellent service and genuine concern that every order means something. Its getting harder and harder to find "customer service". Look no further than our little "little slice" of heaven in Kingsville, La! Thanks Joyce and all the crew for making me eat my delicious words!!! Awesome!!!
This order last night wasn not up to standard. The last couple of years have been the best experiences with the Hut, by far. Last night, was not. the wings were coked in ,?old grease? The pepperoni adl banana pepper stuffed crust pizza lacked in the sauce and toppings. Friendly, courteou and cleanly staff and restaurant still! Just one off night, or order?
