If I could give this place 0 stars, I would.
Let me start off by saying we are huge foodies. We not only eat out regularly, but my family owns restaurants / bars on the east coast so I know the service industry pretty well.
The first time we went here for brunch, my chicken club came out completely raw. I am not exaggerating. The chicken barely had grille marks on it and was completely pink inside. It was sent back to the kitchen and a new one came out. It was just fine. Nothing I would go back for.
We decided to give this place one more try yesterday. It was an absolute disaster! Not only did we wait for 20+ minutes to be seated, despite there being multiple open tables, but we left without ever eating. Why? We placed our order with our waitress, who pulled out an old, crumpled receipt from her pocket and wrote our order on the back (everyone else was using iPads... why she was using an old receipt, I have no clue). Minutes later, we were told they had no orange juice. Apparently, it’s squeezed in house but there was none left. I’m going to go ahead and say the staff was too lazy to squeeze more. Then, we asked for straws. Which they also didn’t have. Needless to say, we were striking out. But, we were hungry so we decided to stick around for our food.
BIG. MISTAKE.
Our waitress proceeds to disappear for 10+ minutes. We literally did not see her once. No one stopped to check on us. Nothing.
I finally spot her, ask where our food is and she says the kitchen never got our ticket. She was apparently on break and someone else was supposed to check on us. Basically, she was placing the blame on anyone else she could. Are you kidding me? The kitchen never got our ticket for an order we placed 25 minutes ago and you’re just realizing this because you were on break? Who goes on break in the middle of a rush? She says she’s going to put the order back in. Fine. But, wait for it... she pulls out another old, crumpled receipt and asks for us to tell her our order again! A complete joke. When we questioned her and whether or not she ever actually placed our order, she became frazzled. Didn’t know how to handle the situation. Not apologetic. Completely unacceptable in the service industry.
While we were extremely hungry, we simply couldn’t wait another 25 minutes in hopes our food would come out, especially when you have a waitress who is all over the place and doesn’t know how to do her job. In addition, I don’t feel comfortable supporting a business like this. They need to take a real hard look at the people working here and what they’re actually doing. This place is poorly run and is going to dig itself into a hole if this is the service they are going to provide.
Oh, and the icing on the cake? I saw all the waitresses passing around a to-go cup and drinking out of it. I thought it was odd... until I saw one of them making a cocktail in said to-go cup behind the bar and then continued to pass it around. Maybe drinking on the job is allowed here (though it’s not at any of my family’s restaurants and bars because it only causes problems), but it’s going to cause you to continue losing local customers.
We will not be returning. There are plenty other businesses I would rather support...

Came here on a wim just to get a quick breakfast bite. I had a Belgian Eaffle n Coffee and not much you can mess up with a waffle but it was good..came out pretty fast which is good n bad..didnt even get 2 drinks off my coffee. I hate being rushed (and it was not busy for a Wednesday morning around 1045)
I'd make 1 recommendations on melted butter that comes with it. Soften the butter but don't melt it! Makes butter inconsistent with oils rising to top.
I'm old school, I want to look at a paper menu. Bringing out yer phone to scan a QR code then getting on yer phone is today and I get it...but when I eat I don't want a phone out but I understand today's person so I can't knock em.
If your here by yourself there's really not much to see or do that takes your attention unless you have one of the few seats near a window. Actually you may need yer phone..lol
I saw two different tables that had omelets that looked big and delicious..and 1 person with a bacon burger...NEXT TIME, ill try an omelet for sure.
Coffee was good, waitress was nice and polite but not really engaging...I like a personality on service but thats me.
I'll be back next time by. On my limited experience I'd recommend it for a good breakfast spot...love the old...
