If you're looking for a delicious and authentic Chinese meal in the Birmingham area, look no further than China Luck Chinese Restaurant in Pinson! This little gem is truly a standout, offering incredible food, wonderful service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that keeps me coming back time and time again.
First, let me talk about the food – it’s absolutely fantastic. Every dish I’ve tried has been full of flavor and made with such attention to detail. Whether you're in the mood for something classic like General Tso’s chicken, sweet and sour pork, or a sizzling plate of beef and broccoli, China Luck nails it every single time. The flavors are rich, the portions are generous, and the ingredients are always fresh. One of my personal favorites is their hot and sour soup – it’s the perfect balance of tangy and spicy, and I always look forward to it.
What really sets China Luck apart, though, is their consistency. I’ve been a regular customer for a while now, and every single time I’ve gone, the food has been just as amazing as the last. It's so rare to find a place that can maintain such a high level of quality over time, but China Luck definitely delivers. The fried rice is another standout – it's always perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of veggies and protein mixed in.
Beyond the food, the service at China Luck is exceptional. The staff is always friendly and attentive, making sure you’re taken care of and that your dining experience is enjoyable. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. The owners and servers go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome, and that kind of hospitality is what makes this place stand out. Whether you're dining in or getting takeout, you're always treated with a smile and warmth.
Another great thing about China Luck is the atmosphere – it’s casual and comfortable, with a relaxed vibe that’s perfect for a meal with family or friends. I’ve always found the restaurant to be clean and well-maintained, which is so important to me when choosing where to eat. There’s also a sense of community in the restaurant that makes it feel like you’re part of something special every time you visit.
I also have to mention how quickly they can get your order ready, especially for takeout. Whether you're ordering during peak hours or on a busy weekend, you can count on your food being prepared quickly without sacrificing quality. It’s incredibly convenient when you’re in the mood for great food but don’t have the time to dine in.
If you’re in the Pinson area or anywhere near Birmingham, I highly recommend giving China Luck a try. The combination of mouthwatering food, great service, and a cozy atmosphere makes it a must-visit. I’m always excited to return, and I know I’ll be a loyal customer for years to come. Do yourself a favor and check it out – I promise you won’t be...
Read moreDO NOT EAT HERE OR DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY !!!!!!! THEY WILL FRAUDULENTLY CHARGE YOUR CARD FOR EXTRA CHARGES AFTER YOU LEAVE & REFUSE TO REFUND YOU. First of all, I only ordered one dinner (moo shu pork) and a side of fried dumplings. I didn't even get a drink! And the total was $26.84 which is insane but whatever. I signed the reciept on the tip line with "$0" and put the total as $26.84 and signed my name. Well today my bank updated the charges to include an extra $6. I did not leave a tip. I did not order anything else. I should not have been charged anything extra. I even gave the cashier a small CASH tip which makes me even more mad that they did this to me. It over charged my bank account and now i owe my bank $40 for this upcharge that should have never even happened in the first place. I know its only $6 to them, i bet they thought I wouldn't notice. But I did. And they can't produce a receipt signed by me with any extra charges or tip. But I know they have the one that I very deliberately put $0 on. I have already filed a claim with my bank, and I plan on filing a complaint with the BBB as well.
Oh and the food wasn't even good. It was gross. The dumplings were completely trash, which is disappointing because it is so hard to mess those up.
Stay away unless you want fraud charges & to be...
Read moreMy family has been eating here for as long as I can remember. This is our go-to place when we want to splurge, the food is absolutely excellent and better than any Chinese restaurant nearby. The egg rolls, soups (egg drop + hot and sour), and pot stickers are regular things we order that are always good. The honey chicken, garlic chicken, and sesame chicken is always tender and a little crispy on the outside when breaded. I can't comment on any of the spicy-hot dishes because we haven't ordered any, it's just not our thing. If you haven't been and you're local, please consider ordering from them. They care about serving quality food and you can taste it. They're family-owned and friendly towards customers, and as a little girl Mrs. Jessica would give me suckers every time we came in. Mr. Lee can be a little hard to understand sometimes but nice, and he understands what you say so we've rarely had an order be wrong. They don't skimp, either, so you'll have leftovers to microwave. I'll be so sad when/if they decide to retire, it's great people...
