Waffle House — Restaurant in Pinson

9/10/22 update - By far one of the worst visits I've ever had to this Waffle House. After more than 40 minutes in the store I left still hungry, empty handed & hangry.

Kudos to the slender, dark haired waitress working at 10:30pm tonight, She Was Literally Serving Every Table & Every Guest except for 2 booths and was the only person working tonight who even spoke to me. I waited tables for nearly a decade so believe when I tell you: this woman is your salvation, Waffle House Pinson. Give her a raise or a nice fat bonus or something, she obviously earns it.

ATTENTION WAFFLE HOUSE MANAGEMENT/CORPORATE : I know good people are hard to find these days but you should really do something about the blonde waitress working at 10:30pm tonight 9/10/22. Once her friend David came in & I watched her clean a table specifically for him & take care of him while I waited to be even greeted, she never left his table & serving only his table and the one right next to his even though they were packed. She had to walk right past me to get to the service area & did multiple times walk past me before Davids arrival & while cleaning what she called "his table". However, she never greeted me, spoke to me or even looked at or acknowledged me in any way.

The obviously-busy dark haired waitress was the only one who did stop, after I had been seated almost 10 minutes, and spoke to me even though I was on the oposite side of the store she was clearly assigned to. She got my coffee and promised to return for the togo order I was ready to give but I was on the far side of the restaurant & she was so busy she never got back to me. I waited about 30 minutes after getting my coffee and ultimately left $3 on the counter for the now-cold remaining coffee, walking out the door even hungrier than I walked in and with no dinner.

Overall Summary : Bad form Waffle House, get yourself together.

Dirty restaurant. Very dirty. So, we visited on Saturday, March 24th for breakfast, and were told that we could sit anywhere. There were two available booths, but we didn't immediately sit because the floor under and around both booths was wet, littered with food and paper, and streaked with what looked like syrup. I notified the young lady who was working that area and asked her if it could be cleaned; blank look. After standing there for another few minutes, I located one of the workers standing next to a mop and asked if she wouldn't mind cleaning the floor as it was dirty and we wanted to sit at the booth. After about a minute, the first young lady I asked came over with a broom, and the second young lady who was standing next to the bucket came over with a mop and they both began to try to mop and sweep the floor at the same time...the result; a mess. The elderly couple who was behind us had decided to sit down at one of the available booths without it being cleaned, but once we sat at our booth, the woman had a few words regarding the cleanliness of the area. We laughed about it a bit out of politeness, but, believe me, there was NOTHING funny here. The floor around the counter was absolutely disgusting and the entire time that we were there, no one came through to sweep; even when there were no customers sitting there. I wouldn't visit this location...

We were in there tonight between 7 and 8 pm, just my daughter and I. They only had maybe 8 people total and 2 were waiting on takeout. There were oy two waitresses and the wonderful cook! We weren't given menus and the brown haired lady had a crummy attitude. We waited at least five minutes to be acknowledged, and the brown haired lady just said what would you like. The other girl brought us drinks and silverware after I asked her to wipe the nasty table off please again. She was apparently new, didn't know if they serve milk in cups or bottles, but she was nice enough. When we got our food, it was wonderful, and the cook checked on us throughout our meal. The waitresses didn't. My daughter ran out of milk and they stayed at the other end of the store and didn't even ask if she wanted more. Mind you, her milk was empty by the time we received our food. Even when the store was empty except for us,the cook was still the only one asking if we were good, and gave my daughter 2 extra pieces of bacon., so he didn't have to throw it away. He was kind, and the only one who seemed to care and was in a good mood. The waitresses were slow, disinterested, and looked and acted truly unhappy...
