ALDI — Local services in Pinson

Quite literally the worst Aldi I’ve ever had. The store was a wreck, a lot of pantry essentials out of stock. The shelves were a mess. The man who was working the register was polite and cordial to the woman in front of me, even telling her to have a blessed day and when it was my turn he wouldn’t even look me in the eye to ask for my ID (I purchased a bottle of wine) and ignored me when I said “have a good one.” I was bagging my groceries after checking out and noticed he was polite and cordial to the person behind me too. I didn’t think to look at his name tag but it was an older white guy with white hair and a hi-vis vest on. The new Aldi in Pinson is a wonderful addition to this community! The affordable prices (got a week's worth of groceries for a family of 4 for only $200!) and great products are better than any other store we have in the area. The wide aisles and simple layout makes it easy for wheelchair users and moms with littles to shop, and there's no obnoxious music playing or chaotic announcements, which is great for people who easily get overwhelmed in stores or have sensory sensitivities, like myself. Food is great and affordable. But the service at the cashier was terrible. I have been four times to this newly opened store. We went on a Saturday evening February 22, 2025 at approximately 4:00pm. There was only one register open. And the line was very long. Then when we were finally at the register the cashier was just throwing our items in the buggy, crushing some of our items. I asked him to please take it easy on our items .Then he started missing the buggy and the items were hitting the floor. I asked him to be careful please and he told me I could go get another item from the shelf to replace them.Needless to say it was a very...
