My Papa Johns Experience On sept 1, 18 120 Lowes Dr #108, Pittsboro, NC 2731... I stoped to get a national promotion pizza. My wife went in to order it and was told they "didnt have that pizza" she said "that one" pointed to the advertisement in the store window. He said no. I could understand running out of stuff, but I would of been like oh we are out of sauce and it has a special sauce or we are out of salami. Then offered to make it with an alternative sauce or topping. Seeming that where just not geting a pizza from that store I left. And continued on to the next papa jhons near my house. In asheboro, nc on the way I called to check that they had it and it was a compleatly diffrent experience. When I got there they guy at the register told us there wasn't much difference in the pizza toppings and the other store could of made a substitution for what they where missing. This immediately made me feel like the Pittsboro location did not want my business and just lied to me. So I called papa johns customer service. I told them what happened they told me someone from the store would call in 48 hours... no call came. I called back it was escalated to the next level. the 48 hour started over with the promise someone from the store would call in 48 hours. AGIAN No Call.. I called back it was escalated to again they told me to hold called the store talked to the mgr i was told that he would call me in a few hours. I waited until close No call back. I called costomer service once again. It was escalated to a customer service mgr. Jenny. She did the same as the previous guy and called the store talked to the mgr i was told that he would call me. Again no call. The next day i called back i was looking to talk to jenny again. She however was off so i was sent to someone else. They called talked to the store mgr again and i was told he would call me in just a few minutes. I waited for some time.. no call. So i called the store myself and was put on hold for 23. Minutes before he finally came to the phone and immediately got the impression. That he didn't want to hear my complaint or fix his store. At one point i was telling him that I ended up leaving to go to the next closest store. He cut me off telling me that the closest store was in chapel hill. Not asheboro. But the asheboro store is closest to my house. Seemed combative for no reason not knowing where I lived. 7 miles from home asheboro. 39 miles to chapel hill. After that i let him talk. About how the employee was new and how trucks run like i was an idiot not understanding shipping supply and demand or the fact I never told the name or decribed the employee I spoke too. So i felt he was just lying to me to get me off the phone.
This leads me to beleive the problem is the stores management and through its failure to function. It is trickling down to the employees and being projected onto the customers. THIS REFLECTS BADLY ON THE BRAND. Not the individual store.
While my problem was finally resolved. (All i wanted is to suggest that the staff receive more training to address customers. ) So today i called back spoke to Jenny once more to let her know my experience, and that my problem was resolved. The other store and customer service where extremely helpful and freindly. She told me she would post my concerns to the store franchisee owners.
7 calls to costomer service, And a ten days of calling and waiting. Over a issue that should of ended in a few minutes before I could of...
Read moreI placed an order for 2 pizzas, cheesesticks and 2 desserts. The smaller of the 2 pizzas was RAW on the bottom . The girl who answered the phone said she would remake cheesesticks. That was not what was raw, it was a pizza. She talked to the manager on duty, Tawanda. Tawanda never even bothered to speaking with me. They offered to remake the pizza but by that time my husband had finished his and I ate the cheesesticks. When I told her I would rather refund that pizza she said the couldn't refund partial orders. Apparently everyone in the free world can issue partial refunds except Papa John's. Well stop the presses, because I thought every business could do enough math and had enough decent customer service to do a partial refund for a customer. But not Papa John's in Pittsboro, NC. Therefore, we will not be eating anymore raw or cooked pizzas from there. Furthermore, had Tawanda actually bothered to get on the phone, maybe this could have been settled in a more professional manner. We do NOT recommend Papa John's...
Read moreFirst off I was thrilled to finally be able to get pizza delivered to the Moncure area. We have been consistently giving you our business for two years. A few weeks back I found out you no longer were making the pan pizza crust which was the first disappointment. Then tonight I was making my usual Friday night online order. It said we were not in the delivery area. Well that seems strange since we just had pizza delivered last Friday. A call was made to see what was going on. They said we no longer deliver to your area. Obviously this store is under new management. I’m highly...
