We ordered from waffle house this morning and of course they forgot to give the whole order. Which isnāt the first time this has happened to me. Went back to get the rest of my order and there was tons of excuses like ā I put it both of the bag on the side of the register .ā What they didnāt realize is that the person that picked up the order said the order was handed to them after the staff looked at the receipt and gave them one bag. The manager even went so far as to say itās the customers responsibility to review their order. They were extremely combative. When I proceeded to take the manager to the side and explain to him that making excuses and being combative was not necessary. All he had to do is say Iām sorry and give me my food. He continued to be combative and passive aggressive with me saying āIām smiling and saying sorryā. Now letās get to the food since I had to go back and get the items that was left off. Of course the food that I received initially was cold. I also had to return the grits because they were lumpy and the toast was burnt poor service poor customer service, and poor...

Should have realised when the parking was empty there would be a reason. It was over 20 minutes when the waitress took my order. Ten minutes later she brought my check. Then another ten minutes went by when she finally called my order out. 25 minutes later after my meal had sit at the cooks table ready she brings my meal. No waffle or drink. She then goes to fix my waffle. Still no oj. I told her that my meal needed to be recooked since the eggs had been cooked almost an hour. The manager heard the conversation and offerred to recook the meal. He had recooked the meal with the meat this time and STILL no waffle or OJ. I had already paid or i would have never stayed that long. Finally the manager got my order finished and to go at this point. My final words to him was i had placed my final order there as i WOULD NEVER be back. He just shook his head. Worse thing was i had included a tip when i had to pay my check prior to getting it....

I was then then welcomed by Rell at the highchair portion of the restaurant closest to the register and sat down with my daughter. I formed him that we were placing a to go order. Sandy immediately approached Rell out of no where and interrupted him from speaking to us, and said "I got this!" In a calm but demanding tone. Everyone, Rell, Sandy, My daughter, and me lockedš eyes. Sandy then mouthed muted comments and spun her finger at her temple (as to say something was crazy). Awkward, Everyone else was uncomfortable. Rell interjected and began asking my daughter for her order (she didn't know what she wanted and had already made a comment to me about Sandy) and began suggesting menu items. We ordered our food with Rell, tipped him 5.00 and he wasšš great. Rell went above and beyond to make our to go order a better experience....
