3rd time and I am officially done with this place. I don't know what has happened to the service. The dude that was making the hoagie that I bought for my dad did not seem welcoming at all. The people that work there did nothing but gossip about customers that came in. It took forever them to even make the hoagie. When I got the piece of trash home my dad was like there was nothing but cheese and the hot sausage. I was floored. I paid $11 for a hoagie with nothing on it. Maybe they just prejudge people that walk in there because they didn't have nice things to say and was sure quick not to want to go to a certain area to deliver. Bad part my dad Knows Angelo himself and if he walked in on a day Angelo was in there or his family members were there he would tell them your workers are crap. First time we got a hoagie and they put the world saltiest mayo on it that made the hoagie taste horrible then the pizza wasn't tasting like I remembered how good it use to taste. Bad customer service and the long wait just to get junk was the last straw. I will never EVER go to that place EVER again. I will stick to Pizza Italia. That place is good and it is up the street and around the corner...

Every time I order from Angelo's it's either hit or miss, I will share images if I can of how disgusting the pizza looks. I specifically ordered a large pizza baked lightly, with extra cheese. However, when I got home it wasn't baked lightly, and where was the extra cheese???

When I called and expressed this, they would not take accountability. I sent over images and spoke with Renee, and she relayed a message back from the owner, and chose to try to overtalk me which she couldn't.🤣 She had to be immature and get out that I could take my business somewhere else. Poor professional customer service.

If you read the reviews you will see for yourself that they care less about the service they provide to customers. If they get the orders correct on the first try customers wouldn't have to call with complaints.

With any business that gets busy, the food and orders SHOULD NOT DIFFER! Duh, it's a pizza place, and most get super busy, but the quality of food and customer service should be nothing but the BEST!!! There's ZERO EXCUSES FOR THIS!!! Get out of the restaurant business if you're overwhelmed and tired of customers expecting to get what...

Angelo's is a Pittsburgh culinary institution. If you want great Steel City pizzas and hoagies, they have to be on your short list.

I love their Italian Hoagies ($16) It's what I remember growing up. Now that I'm living in Austin, when I return to my hometown, I need one of them each trip and am 16 again listening to Boston's More Than a Feeling.

The Italian hoagie comes with wonderful Italian meats sliced thin with melted cheese. Warmed in the oven, it outs the perfect crunch on the bread. Add the onions, tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and don't forget both Italian dressing AND mayo. Whole hoagies are at least 16 inches and fully filled. BTW, It is appropriate to have a jug of Turner's Iced Tea with your hoagie.

Angelo's has great pizza too. They serve an amazing Sicilian Pizza (Squre & 12 large cuts) and a Deluxe Pizza (Large & choice of 4 toppings). $24.75 each.

I gonna stop there. My stomach is happy and full. If you're an East Coast pizza fan, you will like...

First time trying this place and it was pretty good. Pros: Staff was very friendly and accommodating, accidentally gave us the wrong pizza but called as soon as we left to let us know so we turned around and they let us keep both. Definitely the best pizza customer service experience in Pittsburgh. The pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings all had great flavor. We ordered a meat pizza and it was not too greasy like most. They only charged for half the price of toppings since we only wanted toppings on half the pizza. This seems like a given but most places charge full price for half toppings and I always feel a bit ripped off. Cons: The crust was a bit too thick for my taste and soggy, even though we asked for a well-done bake. The wait was kind of long from phone call to pick up (~35 min) Overall it’s some of the best Pizza we’ve tried in the city and would definitely go back!

IM SO TIRED OF ORDERING FROM THIS PLACE AND MY FOOD NOT BEING RIGHT. Last week I got 3 large pizza’s delivered, and do you know they were ALL over cooked and burnt! Today I gave them another try by ordering another hoagie I just could not eat. A hole Tuna Hoagie and they ruined it by putting it in their pizza oven and cooking it to crisp! WTH Angelo’s? And they would not remake my sandwich, so I’m at a loss yet again. I cannot deal. You all have missed the customer service mark. Who the hell wants hot tuna as a hoagie! You all should be ashamed! I’m DONE!
