I was excited to try this place, since I saw that they source their sausage from Ricci's. Being originally from McKees Rocks, Ricci's is a staple of the best sausage available. I was actually excited to find a place that served it on the other side of town.
I found the sandwich pretty good, but the rest of the experience left me with a sour taste. The sign board notes the price for the hot sausage sub as $10.99. I was charged over $15.00. When I questioned this, I was told that prices go up, but the signs don't get changed.
To justify this, I was shown a menu that listed the price as $13.
When I questioned the reason I was charged over $15, I was told that there is an upcharge for using a card rather than cash. It is funny to me that most of their business seemed to come from Uber Eats or Door Dash. The pizza shop next door was buzzing with activity.
I questioned where it was noted that there was an upcharge for using a card.
I was ignored.
The pizza shop had about 5 people behind the line, where here, a single guy handled the orders, one at a time. The pizza shop had a steady stream of customers coming and going, some eating in and some eating on the sidewalk. Big Shot Bob's had a single kid sitting at a table sorting Pokemon cards into a large binder.
The cooler showed the value of the place. It was empty except for a few generic bottles of water and a few sad cans of diet Pepsi. The rest was just empty.
the sandwich was loaded with peppers and onions, and would have been a value at the posted price. Even at the higher price of $13, I still would have gone for it. At $15, it was priced far higher than the value.
I frankly was surprised that the Bureau of Consumer Protection, the Attorney General's Office or the Bloomfield Development Association would allow this. It was very obvious that they were practicing a bait and switch scam. I'm pretty sure that if they ran the business honestly, it would do better than a few delivery service orders and no walk in trade.
The whole experience was a disappointment.

Read moreI am currently extremely upset with my wing experience and must share. I have been a loyal consumer of wings from this establishment, as their sauces are indeed sublime. However, tonight my tongue and soul were denied the pleasures of the sauce. Allow me to tell you my tale.
The process started as a very standard order of boneless wings with a sweet buffalo sauce and 2 ranches on the side. I placed this order through the food delivery service, “Uber Eats.” I have ordered through “Uber Eats” multiple times to procure boneless wings from Big Shot Bobs with no issue. (For those unaware the sauces are served tossed with the wings and not on the side, this is a crucial detail to understand this tale). My romantic partner and I had raised excitement levels for these wings after a tough day. Due to the rough nature of our day, my romantic partner had decided to take a pre-wing-and-sauce-consumption-nap.
The friendly “Uber Eats” delivery driver arrived during the crisp evening and presented me with a plastic bag with the promise of sauced wings inside. I was truly ecstatic at this moment, but that euphoria would not last. Once I opened the package, I was greeted with SAUCELESS boneless wings, with no sauces on the side. I was devastated. I was quickly sent into a tizzy and awoke my romantic partner to make her aware of the lack of sauce. To remedy the issue I filed a formal complaint through the “Uber Eats” app and was refunded the cost of the wings BUT was still required to pay the delivery fee and the cost of the side of ranch.
To clarify the issue, the wings were clearly shipped from Big Shot Bobs incorrectly, as I do not believe the “Uber Eats” driver would have perfectly wiped the sauce off my boneless wings. Thank the gods that I ordered the side of ranch or my wing experience would...
Read moreThe first time I ordered food here my order got mixed up and the attitude I got from the staff made me swore I’d never spend a nickel here again. The owner called back to make amends and correct my order but I was so over it. That happened last year. This year I decide to give them another chance and once again, I was left disappointed and frustrated. I live literally 2-3 minutes from the store but it took their delivery driver OVER AN HOUR to deliver my food!!! I placed this order on Uber eats also. That way I could track my order in the app and communicate with the driver. But then I saw I couldn’t track my order and could only call the restaurant for updates. When I called the restaurant after my food left the store about 30 minutes prior the man on the phone refused to contact the driver for an update. When I got my food over an hour later I received no knock on the door, phone call or notice that my food had been left outside in the cold! My fries were like ICE and the wings were also cold, just over cooked. Lovely right? Literally, two bad experiences with this place. So I can say now with certainty, that I will never a spend another PENNY here and you...
