I Loved this Burger King So Much until 20 minutes ago. I was recently displaced because I chose not to be abused. So I signed up for Emergency housing. I work real close to this Burger King. When I get my checks, I come eat n watch TV. While trying to stay on a tight budget. I was sitting directly under the flat screen. Searching for an apartment. I got a reply call from someone about a local apartment. I finally have enough $. It was very comfortable as always. At 9:00 a young worker named Rj came over n turned the TV on basketball & turned the volume full blast (i mean painfully loud) That's actually when I realized he'd even changed the channel. It was so loud, I was trying to get to a table across the room to finish my phone call to a potential landlord. Then out of nowhere. He yells out loud in the lobby. Who cares there been in here all night. First of all I was moving furniture all night for side cash at a local house. So that was a blatant lie. So i just hung up bcuz I was humiliated. I asked what his name was bcuz he went to the back. He just turned his back, so I could not see his name tag. So I told him, I had not been there all night n I showed him my reciept. I told him what he did wasnt right. he started yelling that my time limit was 25 minutes. Yes that's fine n dandy but, he's supposed to be working so maybe he needs to be adhering to the rules, as well instead of being completely disrespectful to paying customers. Of which I am. I never cause a problem. I am quite n polite & ive always been impressed with the friendliness of the day n evening staff. I was grabbing my backpack to leave. Then a tiny employee asked us to leave. So I asked for the manager so I could get his name. She was very kind. I explained the situation n while me n her were talking he kept sticking his head around her getting loud. He laughed when she told me he's a manager in training. So to make a long story short. We could only afford to eat here. We are inconvenienced bcuz of an arrogant rude child. It does hurt our feelings. We stop in three times a day between work n sleep. I feel we were treated very poorly. I hope he realizes he needs to get it together before he becomes manager....
Read moreI went through the drive-thru, They didn't have half of what I wanted. No problem, I just ordered a Whopper meal. I drive up to the window and the lady tells me it's more than it is on the menu even if I accounted for tax. No matter, I'm not going to cause a fuss over a few quarters. I'm told after they swipe my card to drive down to the end of the drive-thru and wait for my food. I do so and after 5 minutes, Another car comes up behind me and loudly lays on the horn. I have nowhere to go so I pull back into the parking lot and go inside. I think it's odd that I haven't gotten my food yet and I'm confused as to why they didn't bring it out to me like they said they would, especially considering the car behind me got its food. Low and behold, they have no idea where my food is.... and they have no evidence of it on their computer screen. I double checked my bank account and yep there it is there's the Burger King charge. They are all very confused even though I'm speaking directly to the woman who just took my card and I am in a large marked van. Very hard to miss. I told them I just ordered from here, All I have is my drink, I just need my food. They argue with me for a minute, instead of maybe going and getting my food they spend three to five minutes giggling and laughing loudly saying well" No one's come through the drive-thru" even though the woman who just took my order is standing right there, and a car went after me. I eventually got my food but even then I've been overcharged and I ended up wasting 20 minutes here and the service was terrible. I mean come on It's not that hard just hand me my food and have basic memory spanning the last 5 minutes of your life. I don't understand how someone can be so inept at their job that they can't remember someone who just came through the drive-thru not but 5 minutes before. Google should...
Read moreI can't speak much for their burgers, but don't get breakfast here.
I went in for a biscuit with bacon and eggs (which they were out of), so instead ordered a croissant with sausage, egg, and cheese, and the 3-piece French toast. The lady at the drive-through was very sweet and communicative, 5/5. The food I got, however, was not a sweet 5/5. Upon opening the French toast container, I was greeted by the sight of one normal French toast, then 3 crunchy corpse fingers. They were inedible, so I didn't eat them- about the size of steak-cut fries, dark amber, and sad. The one GOOD French toast stick was very tasty, and I would have preferred the other 2 to be normal instead of whomever loaded my breakfast going 'ah, whatever,' and giving me extra burnt bottom-scraps instead of making a fresh batch, which I would have gladly waited for. That speaks to me that the person who made my order (a middle aged white man who looked like he had a chip on his shoulder, didn't smile, and didn't speak to me when I said 'good morning') was either lazy, careless, or spiteful. Which is why I am giving 2 stars instead of 3. I've worked overnights at a GetGo kitchen, and never once did I just go 'ah heck with it' and give someone 5 small tidbits of food instead of 3 whole ones. The croissant was marginally better, but really wet and sad- I've never had a sandwich make a 'squelch' noise when I bit into it. The taste was ok. I'd rate the food as something you'd eat only if you have no other options- which was my situation, and I think next time I'll take the extra 6 minutes to get shawarma from Kassab's down the road- which is also a local-owned business instead of a sad, underpaid,...
