I LOVE Chipotle and I eat it almost every week. Now, normally I don't leave reviews for chain restaurants because people generally know what to expect. But this location has given us so many problems that I feel like I need to let people know. Most of the time my family orders from this location (Freeport Rd in Pgh) as it is the most convenient for my husband to pick up on the way home from work. My family used to go to this location even when it was out of our way because the service was quick and the portions were generous, but recently (the past 2-3 months), we have been disappointed many times. When ordering online through the app, we were still having to wait 15+ minutes after our scheduled time to get our order. There were also two instances when we were unable to order online randomly in the middle of the afternoon. However, the last time we went was the worst. Because we have been having so many issues with ordering online, we decided to just order in the store for takeout. Even though we were the only people in the store, it still took longer than expected to get through the order. The person serving us seemed like serving us with beneath him and that he was so bored with his job that he didn't care if he did a good job for the customers. When we asked if there were any fajita veggies, he pointed at the place where they normally go and said "this is where they're supposed to be" as if to say "no you idiot, it is obviously empty, use your eyes." On top of that, he did not recognize a menu item. We asked for a kids guacamole quesadilla (which is what it is called on the menu and on the app) and he said "you don't get guac with kid's quesadilla. It's just cheese." So we ended up getting guac on the side (which is how the guac quesadilla comes anyway) but he couldn't even be bothered to grill the quesadilla (remember, there was no one else in the store so it's not like it would hold up the line). When we got the meals home, I opened the tin foil that was wrapped around the quesadilla and it was literally a handful of cheese in a small flour tortilla, not melted. I ended up having to crisp the quesadilla myself so that the cheese would melt and the tortilla would stay closed. All in all, this location has just plummeted in service and I recommend taking your Chipotle craving to...
Read moreAfter numerous attempts to contact customer service with no return communication, I am taking this route to hopefully get my money back. Visit this location quite often. Ordered on Thursday April 15th on the mobile app. Was given an estimated wait time of 645... arrived at the restaurant at 648. The place was PACKED with people waiting on mobile orders. I asked about my order and was told they were more then an hour and a half behind on mobile orders. I get people are busy, but this should be communicated better through the app. Tell me my food won’t be done until 8 so I can then make my decision on whether or not I want to wait that long. Don’t give someone an estimated wait time that is almost 2 hours off. At 648 they were just working on the orders that were supposed to be completed by 530. This is unacceptable when someone is on a meal break for work. I had to leave and return to work with no food. And I was told I had to reach out on the app for a refund. Which I’ve done 3 times now. With no response. It’s only 11 dollars but it’s leaving a real salty taste in my mouth that no one will get back to me. This isn’t the first time this has happened at this location either. I highly suggest if you’re visiting here you DO NOT pre order and order once you get to the counter. Seems to be no issue getting in and out this way. The mobile order is a joke here. Asked for double chicken once and made it home to a bowl with no chicken at all. Don’t waste your time at this location and if you have to visit this one take my word and order once...
Read moreConstantly have issue with this location specifically. The other day I made a mobile order with a burrito and a bowl. The burrito I order was made into a bowl instead - which is crazy because the burrito I order is literally just chicken, cheese, and queso - nothing else. When I realized their mistake I drove back to the restaurant and went up to the register and kindly told them the issue. The worker that was doing the mobile order station rudely told me to get in line and get it reorder! I waited in line for 10 minutes and they ended up running out of all the ingredient to make the burrito. the worker doing the in-person line then rudely said “Am I supposed to remake that into a burrito for you now?” (For reference I had the bowl in hands - but it was cold due to have it been driven home and back.) I ended up just asked for a tortilla and leaving since I was being treated poorly and they couldn’t actually remake it. In the end, the workers made a simple mistake of making a burrito into a bowl, but made the situation/experience horrible by treating me rudely and like I did something wrong! Don’t understand how someone could be treated so poorly when going at the issue in a...
