Fox's Pizza Den — Restaurant in Pittsburgh

i used to order from here about 3-4 times a week, lived right down the street and when i was too lazy or it was too cold/snowy to walk to pick up my order. i'd tip the drivers about $5 every time to go .2 miles down the road. one time i placed an order for a steak and cheese hoagie and patiently waited for it to be delivered. it was taking longer than usual but there was a game on and i figured they were just busy because of that. after about an hour i called to see what was taking so long. the manager told me the driver had already been to my address and had called my phone multiple times and knocked on the door. well, i live in a 2nd floor apartment so it's impossible for me to hear the entry way door. i checked my phone logs and just like i thought i hadn't missed or received any calls. i told him the driver must have called the wrong number. he told me he didn't. i asked how long has the hoagie been sitting? he said 45 mins. i asked can you make a fresh one? he said no. i then asked if i still had to pay for the hoagie that had been sitting for 45 mins. he said i did. when the 2nd delivery guy arrived i went outside to show him my call logs. and also had him call my phone to prove to him that my phone was receiving calls and that the first delivery guy never called. i then went back inside and ate my hoagie that had been sitting for almost an hour at this point mostly because i still had to pay for it and didn't want to waste it. within about 20 minutes i started having mild food poisoning symptoms. so let's recap. your driver didn't call me (for whatever reason) i had the call logs on my phone to prove it regardless of how ignorant the manger was, CLEARLY the fault was on you or your driver. i then had to pay for an old hoagie that probably shouldn't have been served. i then proceeded to have diarrhea for the next hour or two. where is the accountability???? so even tho i have proof that you guys failed to deliver. you as a manager can just do whatever you want. like i said i used to go here almost daily and have not ordered since this happened which was probably over...

Very good deluxe pizza 🍕 n fox's 🍕 pizza 🍕 been around a lot longer than vocellis,pizza outlet ,(a similar pizza shop ,) was 1st pizza shop my PASTOR MATTHEW AZZOLINA bought ME n my MOM n DAD n CHURCH members traveling home from a special edition sermon( in 1st Baptist church) from DR JACK HYLES SERMON in Uniontown, PA long time ago ,when I was kid ,but I've tried most if Pittsburgh s 🍕 pizza 🍕 ,n Angelo's in Mt Oliver, (no longer open ,owner n wife passed away ) (fioris (best) ,fazios,disallas, doughboys ,giovannis on west liberty ave,pizza outlet,amilis/ray's pizza 🍕, fox's ain't really updated since I was a kid ,so doughboys best Sicilian fioris best cheese n sauce mixture with fresh dough n fazios best service n all best...

Honestly I'm a pretty easy person to satisfy. I ordered wings and fries from foxes and when I got the wings they weren't even warm and the hot sauce on the wings was hardly noticeable not to mention the chicken was dry. The fries were also cold and soggy and the cheese that came with it also cold. I don't ask for much in this world, but if you're going to charge me $15 for a pile of garbage, at least give me warm garage, ya know? 1 star because a) I had to give them the star and b) they brought the food (late, but...
