Hojicha soft serve with the topping of red bean, mochi, and boba pearls: 10/10. So good. Absolutely perfect balance of sweet and earthy. The toppings compliment it perfectly.

Iced matcha latte with oat milk: 7/10. I would say this wasn't my absolute favorite matcha. Not because it was bad but it wasn't quite as strong as I'd like and I feel like I tasted the oat milk more than the matcha. I love a very strong matcha. It was still very good and I think would've been perfect for someone who doesn't like as strong matcha.

Matcha parfait: I didn't have this, but my cousin did. He doesn't like matcha but I dragged him here and he was intrigued lol. He said it was really really good. 8/10.

Service: really friendly and fast! They are very accommodating.

Price: a little pricey but worth it.

This is the newest Matcha place in squirrel Hill in what seems to be an explosion of Matcha places in the neighbourhood. I am not complaining though. Similar to mango mango, which opened just a couple months back in the same street, which focuses on all things mango, this place focuses on all thing matcha. Think of matcha drinks, deserts, ice cream, and some more. The restaurant is spacious and very stylishly decorated with a lot of pastel shades. The chairs look super fancy as well, but are actually not very comfortable to sit at. I guess they have chosen style over substance, and it seems to be working so far because the place is always full. I got a strawberry matcha latte and it was actually pretty good. The strawberry was muddled, fresh in front of my eyes and the matcha was of good quality. My friend got a regular matcha latte and he didn’t seem to enjoy it as much. If you love matcha then this is the place for you. They have a bunch of matcha desserts and drinks. There is also other drinks and desserts to pick from. We got matcha ice cream with the chocolate crisp pearls and a matcha with rice mochi. The matcha was perfectly sweet and bitter and the toppings help break up all that matcha flavor. The amount of ice cream you get is good and next time I would split one with someone else because I could not finish it all in one sitting. They have 2 counters to order from. One is for drinks and one for the ice cream and desserts. There is also 2 kiosks that you can use to order from but there is a small convenience fee to use them. The seating area is cute and they offer wifi for guests. The store was clean and the staff were nice.
