Fast, casual, and full of flavor — Mild 2 Spicy is bringing authentic Indian street food to North Oakland, and it’s a total win. Located inside The Mill Food Co. on Melwood Ave, this ghost kitchen serves up a vibrant menu that lets you choose your meal and your spice level — from mild to spicy — for a completely customizable experience. Ordering is simple: stop in and use the kiosk, or order online for pickup or delivery. Either way, you’re in for fresh, flavorful, and affordable Indian food that tastes like it came straight from the streets of Mumbai. I tried a few dishes and was impressed by each one: Aloo Tikki – perfectly spiced potato patties served with green and tamarind chutney. Samosa Chaat – deconstructed samosas topped with chickpeas, chutneys, raita, onions, cilantro, and crispy sev — loaded with flavor and texture. Idli – light, steamed savory cakes paired with coconut & tomato chili chutney and sambar. Masala Dosa – a thin, crispy crepe stuffed with seasoned potatoes and served with flavorful chutneys and sambar. Mango Lassi – a creamy, refreshing yogurt-based drink that perfectly balances all the spice. Every dish was bursting with authentic flavors, and the convenience of the setup makes it even better. If you’re craving delicious Indian street food that’s quick, customizable, and satisfying, Mild 2 Spicy is a must-try spot in Oakland.

Mild 2 Spicy is this new ghost kitchen I came across when ordering Indian food. They have these nice snack type foods like samosa, vada pav, Bhel which are great for quick snack. Chaat's too if you want so more savory and healthy. They also have rice bowls and dosas if you are looking for something for lunch or dinner. Menu is vegetarian which is nice so anyone can enjoy their food. It’s also vegan friendly. I order a spring dosa and build your own rice bowl. They were terrific! If you're worried that food is spicy don't be. They make it to your selection. They have options for spice level. Which is nice because most places don’t have that. Definitely a place to check out if you are looking for quick fast Indian food. They get food out quick and fast. You can order delivery or carry out.

Was loookin for some Indian food and came across to mild 2 spicy place. They do snack food stuff not like other Indian restaurant and ordered Vada Pav and Aloo Tikki Chaat. Food was unreal good. Me and my friend loved it. She had the Aloo Tikki Chaat. The potato patty with green & tamarind sauce gave it that sweet and tangy flavor which put her over the top. We highly recommend this place to you all. Check these guys out!

Other day I found out about Mild 2 Spicy and decided to order delivery. Saw that this is was a different kind of Indian restaurant. These guys do Indian street food. Ordered Masala Chai, Vada Pav, Samosa Chaat, Idli and Mysore Masala Dosa. Also a Mango Lassi and pani puri for my kid. Order was delivered in a timely manner no less than by the owner of the restaurant. It was well packed and secured with the utmost care. Everything was fresh and piping hot almost like dinning in at a restaurant. Masala Chai was perfect great taste and flavor, Might be my new favorite. Might have to stop buying starbucks chai latte and go for this. Vada Pav was great with my Chai, its like a slider type burger snack. Daughter was also impressed with Samosa chaat tangy and savory taste of the sauces was amazing. Wife loved the Dosa, just the prefect portion size she was full and satisfied. My son enjoyed the pani puri and mango lassi too. He had so much fun with the pani puri. It was for a once you can play with your food. Definitely worthwhile tying out if you want to try something different when it comes to...
