If you are native to Pittsburgh, you have been to Soldier's and Sailors countless times. My issue isn't with them per se.. It is with the security that they have on the weekends and that was used for the City High graduation a couple Saturdays ago.
There was a lot of construction on Forbes that day, and just busy in general. And unbeknownst to a few people attending(myself included), we needed to be at the graduation at 9:45am because the doors were being locked at 10am, and then reopened at 10:15am. Read moreSchenley Farms Historic District is a great and quaint jewel of a neighborhood within the city of Pittsburgh limits. It is walking distance to the University of Pittsburgh (my college alma mater); Carnegie Mellon University and Carlow College. Serious walkers and runners can walk or run to Chatham University within 30 minutes or the trendy Shadyside business district from this great neighborhood.
Its' grand stately houses are simply breathtaking while its' modern condominiums are tre' chic!!! I encourage you to take a stroll through the neighborhood in the early morning i.e. 5 - 7 am or 7- 10 pm when it is enchantingly quiet. You simply must experience it for...

Don't miss this place if you're anywhere near Burlington and have at least a couple of hours of...
