If it wasn't for Yelp, I would not have known this place existed. Also, never experienced a ghost kitchen before. This place focuses solely on takeout or delivery - there is no actual dine-in area. The food is made by a person and assembled by a robot for precise portions and presentation. Wild - blew my mind! You can order online through their website for takeout or delivery OR go in-person to order at their kiosk. And this is just one of the 20+ ghost kitchens located in The Mill. I didn't see a single person when I was here. Just put my order in at the kiosk (very user-friendly BTW) and waited about 10 mins to get the text that my order was ready for pick up. Click the link in the text and the locker pops open with your food neatly bagged and ready to go. The food itself was amazing. I ordered the chili crunch bowl which was large enough for 2 - I took the leftovers for lunch the next day and it was still delicious. Super fresh, no soggy anything. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the seasoning on the smoked romesco broccoli and carrots - too much cumin for my liking. Other than that, I definitely plan to come back. Such a quick and healthy meal that's super convenient for busy days and nights.

Checked out Farmstand, one of the new restaurant concepts inside The Mill on Melwood Avenue! Operated by The Hungry Group—a virtual restaurant group that focuses on everything but dine-in—this spot is all about quality and speed. My experience was super smooth: walk in, order on a touchscreen, get an ETA (mine was quick!), then wait for a text with a link to open your personal locker. So easy and efficient. I tried a build-your-own bowl and was seriously impressed. I went with white rice, basil garlic crunch pasta salad, farmhouse corn mix, cheddar cheese, cucumbers, and roasted chicken—topped it all off with a zesty cilantro crema. It was incredible. Fresh, flavorful, and a generous portion. I also grabbed the Farmstand garlic flatbread (a perfect sidekick) and a sparkling blackberry Izze—totally hit the spot. Can’t wait to try the other restaurant concepts there, but I already know I’ll be back for Farmstand. Great quality, super convenient, and deliciously wholesome food.

The kiosk was pretty easy to use. You pick up the food from a locker with a link. There's no place to sit and eat which is ok. The food is tasty and fresh. The portions are large.

Food wise, Farmstand was pretty good. However, do NOT use the delivery option. Or if you do, do not use it for anything other than same day delivery. I sent in an order for delivery that was supposed to be delivered the following evening for a business dinner. I set the order to be delivered at 6:30pm. 30 minutes prior to my meeting, and the food did not arrive until 8:30pm, causing a real disruption. I messaged the delivery driver after I saw that the order had not left the restaurant yet, and he said that he had been waiting for 20 minutes. Eventually that delivery driver left and I had to start my meeting hoping that the restaurant would eventually make our food and someone else would eventually deliver it. I do not enjoy leaving poor reviews, and did not plan to leave this one, because as I said, the food was decent. However, Farmstand sent an email to me asking for an internal review of their service. I explained everything I just said in this review, but no one reached out to me to discuss why this gap in service occurred. I would go back again in person to pick food up...but I will never do delivery again. Wishing the best for this restaurant and hope it...
