Pretty solid fish and chicken spot. However, when I visited, I wasn't really craving chicken or fish. I saw they had gyros, and decided to try that out. That was probably a mistake. All I ordered was their lamb gyro. It wasn't bad. But, this is not a gyro. A gyro has shaved meat in it. This was like a kufta sandwich if you know what that is. But, even as a kufta sandwich, it wasn't very good. It was a good price for the portion. But, flavor wise, kind of fell short. The meat was cooked decently but didn't have much kick or flavor to it. To be fair, they did include a good amount of meat, though. The lettuce was pretty limp and did taste that fresh. Neither did any of the other vegetables. The pita was fine but not warm, not fluffy or anything. Just okay. My number one complaint (besides the fact it's not a gyro sandwich) is that there was basically no sauce. It was super dry. Usually, a really good sauce would solve a lot of these problems, but they had essentially no sauce whatsoever. All in all, maybe their fish and chicken is better. But, the gyro isn't, so I recommend avoiding ordering that.

It’s strictly a TAKEAWAY FOOD COUNTER inside a neighborhood convenience store. It’s NOT a sit-in food counter. - The food counter is the bright spot for a store that sells mostly junk food. It’s really fast food, a food service concept that I generally shun, but I came here based on a recommendation by an acquaintance about their fried fish. The menu is the usual listing of fried chicken, gyro/burger, and fried fish. While there’s nothing outstanding, their fish, especially the CATFISH PLATTER, is surprisingly cooked well, seasoned, and without the fishy smell😎. The fish is actually flaky. — THIS IS SO UNLIKE MANY FRIED FISH COUNTERS and EVEN EATERIES SERVING FRIED FISH in Pittsburgh. BUT the coleslaw (likely factory made) is a throw away. The fried okra and mushroom as well as the French fries are also cooked very crispy and are seasoned👍. There’s white bread with the fish platter, but really unnecessary being a nutritionally-deficient invention. On the other hand, it serves as an oil-sapping material for the real food (fish). Service is very good and very friendly.

I am so disappointed in my order. The chicken tenders were dark/dry and extremely salty. I couldn't even eat them. The cheese sticks were so small and again extremely salty! I couldn't eat either of them. As for the Steak hoagie nothing special. I would definitely not order from here again! ***** Pictures Don't Lie!*****

I called after placing the order to make sure my condiments would be with the order and they assured me. Well they lied on the phone cuz they don't have lemon or lemon slices. My fried catfish wasn't cooked all the way it was slimy. The bread was hard. The only thing I could eat was the okra and couple of jumbo shrimp! You can hardly understand what they are saying! I have no clue how they have the ratings and reviews they do! So once I call to ask why they lied to me about having lemon slices and it would be in my food they say oh no we only have some juice mixed with hot sauce. And then I couldn't understand the rest of conversation. You would think they'd offer a discount because of the 75 dollars we spent for not being able to eat most of it but after his rambling hung up on me. I'd stick to what you know or try some places other...
