Shake Smart — Restaurant in Pittsburgh

I’m writing this as someone who NEVER leaves a review on a place but every time i’ve been to shake smart i have had a terrible experience. The staff aren’t very friendly and they are very slow with getting your order. I waited 20 minutes for a bowl when it wasn’t even that busy and two girls before me had ordered and already received their food before me. When I got my order it was wrong, with toppings I didn’t even ask for. Not to mention my friend had ordered from there and gotten an allergic reaction and sent to the hospital because they accidentally put peanut butter in her smoothie. She has a severe peanut allergy!! You would think they could pay more attention. Yeah so...

Never been in a place before where the kiosk ordering system makes things LESS efficient. You would think the idea in a food court setting would be so you could order then walk away and come back. Instead it REQUIRES that you order at the kiosk - requiring input of a phone number - then still pay at the register, seemingly before they will make your drink. This already defeats the point, but they were also very busy and instead of one person exclusively working the register, they would take 1-2 people for payment, then help make drinks for 10 minutes.

TLDR: they require using a kiosk, but still make you stand in line at the register for 10+ minutes when it's busy....
