Magnificent Thai Food! I am 99% sure that this has to be the best Thai food in Pittsburgh. This is because nearly every plate, from deserts, soups, rice, noodles, pasta, entrees, appetizers, and desserts, are made for the exquisite (delicious) taste in your mouth. Some plates that I recommend (mostly of what I have tried, but I expect them all to taste the same, savory) , are; Pad See Ew, the combination of their high quality, great seasoned pasta with your choice of any meat makes this plate one you will enjoy [ if you like a mild taste of wide noodle pasta], then for desserts their mango and sticky rice one is quite a well made dessert, this goes along with saying that the sticky rice actually has some sweet savory, and well sticky flavor to it, and when you mix it with the fresh slice of mango, you get a dessert you cannot put down, thus, not to speak of the drinks, the coconut drink tastes refreshing to every sip, and it has actual sweet ,easy to eat , coconut slices inside the drink, highly recommended. Finally, a great tasting appetizer that you indulge in your mouth is the fried tofu one, which contains sweet peanut sauce by the side, when you mix them together it is a plate you cannot put down. What I have described here in this long, yet informative section is some of the best plates , I believe, are sold at this restaurant made with the highest of quality. This place is super duper recommend when you visit for any ages, and it is not to expensive. Best Thai place in the Pittsburg area, a must...

Excellent Thai food in the Highland Park area. I've heard great things about this spot and it definitely lived up to the hype! I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken, pork spring rolls, Thai custard with sticky rice, and Thai iced tea. Everything was (mostly) excellent.

Oddly, the Pad Thai itself was not the greatest. I'd give it a 3.3-3.7/5. The portion was excellent. Bowl itself isn't big put they pack the noodles in there. A few vegetables, like green onions, are in there too. Fair amount of nuttiness and peanuts. My main issue? It is too dry. I like Pad Thai that is saucy and has an excellent quality sauce. Here, the noodles themselves are food, but the dish is still somewhat bland without the sauce. There's a fair amount of chicken and it was cooked well.

Other than that, this place is basically flawless. Thai iced tea is sweet and a bit creamy, too. You can taste the original blend of tea as well as the condensed milk. The price of $3 is very fair. Pork spring rolls are insanely good! They taste a bit like pork dumplings/pelemeni stuffed inside a spring roll wrapper. Crunchy, meaty, and great sauce.

Dessert was excellent, although a bit on the expensive side ($7). I even forgot to take a photo; thats how quickly I ate this custard. I like that they are somewhat liberal with the coconutty sweet liquid on top. Overall, a great spot and fair prices with great portions. The Pad Thai was the only slight disappointment, since it didn't...

Hi Pittsburgh,

I like the food and the quaint environment at this restaurant. In fact, the dish that I order is delicious. I will say though, the service leaves a little something to be desired.

As a Black man in the city of Pittsburgh, I have noticed that oftentimes, when I patronize many businesses here, I receive a chilly, somewhat subtle discrimination. In fact, if it weren't for the food being so darn good, I probably would not have never returned, and I may very well stop patronizing here for this very reason.

Pittsburgh and its citizens and businesses would do well to learn that Black people, especially those who are not intimated by such tactics and racist acts, whether these come in the form of overt acts or microagressions, will not tolerate this treatment ever, and if you want to continue to receive our business, votes, etc., we are watching and we will not continue to spend our dollars with you if we are not treated accordingly. We live in a geopolitical world and smart people will learn to respect and appreciate everyone regardless of their race. These racists attitudes and behaviors cannot survive very long in a society that is becoming more and more colorful everyday.

Wise up and treat your customers with respect and dignity--...

About the Thai Restaurant: This Thai restaurant, located in Pittsburgh, undoubtedly stands as the best Thai restaurant in town. It's a truly local gem, albeit with no space to sit inside, reflecting its focus on takeaway or to-go orders. About the Food: During my visit, I had the pleasure of savoring some incredible dishes. The Thai fried rice was simply mind-blowing, bursting with flavors and leaving a lasting impression. The Khao Soi, a curry noodle entree featuring both pork and chicken, was equally amazing. Additionally, the fried dumplings were a delightful treat. To complete the meal, I enjoyed a refreshing Thai tea, served just the way I like it - light on ice. In summary, this restaurant offers a culinary experience that's beyond words. The dishes were exceptional and worth every penny. For its incredible food, efficient service, and attention to preferences, this Thai restaurant easily deserves a well-earned five-star rating.

I’d say this is a 4.5 out of 5. The manager lady is very friendly :) I ordered yellow curry noodle she recommended strongly to me with a spicy level of 2, but it feels like a 5 compared to other Thai restaurants I have tried in Squirrel Hill. I made a comment about this, and she offered me some iced tea drink for free (and it tastes good). For food itself, I think it tasted great, too. Not a Thai person so I cannot speak for the authenticity, though. The shrimps in the noodle are not properly deveined, which makes me a little unhappy as it is meant to be a +$4 extra for the shrimp. My noodle itself cost $12. It is a little little bit more expensive compared to some other Thai restaurants in the town given the amount of noodles in the bowl, but I think the friendly dine-in service deserves it.
