I don't have any reason to go out to Highland Park. No, that's a lie. I have two reasons to go out to Highland Park. I ride my bike around the reservoir, and I go to this coffee shop. I don't even need the park to draw me out. A latte from Tazza D'oro is enough to lure me. I'm no coffee connoisseur, but holy guacamole, they make the best latte I've ever had. Almost certainly the best latte in Pittsburgh. It's creamy, hot, and balanced. And honestly, if it isn't the best, it looks the best. Look at those pictures! Come on! Tell me you don't want to drink that. It has a cozy atmosphere that a lot of coffee shops attempt to achieve but ultimately fail. There isn't a weird blanket of silence imposed by people with laptops. You can actually talk to people in this coffee shop and meet them. The food was delicious as well, in good portions, and decently presented.
Prices were at par with the service...

World's gayest Cafe!" But obviously that wouldn't be appropriate. However, this cafe really is a beacon of hope for businesses to support Pride and LGBTQ+ communities. With all the big corporations waving their pride flags for a month, Taza does so yearly and within the month of June makes noticeable local impacts for our community. Not only do they don the rainbow colors but they support artists host events and offer support. Great coffee and great people.
P.s. I highly recommend the hand pies in the fridge, the crust is a national treasure. I truly believe Gordan Ramsey would have nice things to...
