Del Taco — Restaurant in Placentia

The customer service is THE WORST I have ever experienced with any Del Taco locations - I pulled up to the drive-thru around 8:15am, I waited about 3 minutes before I said "hello" no response after a minute or so, then I get a young guy's voice and he said "can I help you", I said I thought you were closed and no reply, I asked for my items and the guy goes silence again, I asked if he got my order and no reply, waited a moment and I said "Hello, did you get my order" he then says with an attitude "I got everything", I said "thank you". Obviously I didn't get a total, I pulled to the window and see this older man fixing the headset, he took the order of the car behind me and got the drink ready, went to the computer to take the next car's order and I kept waiting to see if he would open the window so I can pay for my order and nothing, I DROVE OFF! Thanks to Del Taco unhappy employees I was late for work since I had to stop by at Farmer Boys to get my breakfast. Del Taco a simple suggestion as a frequent customer, trained your employees to say "can you please give me a moment" or "can you hold a moment" or repeat the order to assure to the costumer that the employee got the...

Parking lot clean. Exterior of building semi clean but all the spider webs in the bushes makes me wonder. Besides the Funnel Cake Fries that tasted cooked to order the tortills were obviously expired or sat out way to long. They shouldn't be hard like toasted 3 times for a Chicken Roller. The chicken also tasted like it was sitting in the warmer and not tossed out when supposed to. It was dry and tasted like it's been sitting too long. As a food service worker you tend to notice the small things that really matter. Add on top the 2 napkins given were all greeted up AND my biggest issue of all! THE 2 NAPKINS WERE USED TO GRAB THE FUNNEL CAKE FRIES AND SOAKED UP WHAT VERY LITTLE POWDER SUGAR WAS USED ON THEM. IT'S OK TO USE THE POWDER SUGAR DONT SKIMP A SMALL 1 LB BAG COSTS LESS THAN 1...

I went during lunchtime (bw 12 - 1 pm) and the line wrapped around and past the gas station ⛽. Never seen it like that. So I parked & went inside, expecting it to probably take longer (didn't want to sit stressing and time and gas $ being spent sitting in the drive-thru) than it would if I had just stayed in the car...like always.

But they were super quick and 👌 nice. Less than 2 mins waiting for my order and the food was great. The employees were working super hard and were super polite. Which unfortunately doesn't happen much anymore.

24 HOURS EVERYDAY! Just so you know. So when u'v been up all night you don't have to feel like a total freak....
